Welcome to CRM Life Episode 86. During this episode, you’ll see Charlie going over a fake vs real Rolex Submariner Hulk, and sharing the story of a dealer we know who lost $25,000 as a result of it. We’ve said it during previous episodes. It’s crazy how scary these replica watches are getting. Buyer beware!
The crypto market has been plagued with bad news recently, especially with the FTX debacle, which is the worst of the worst. For Christ’s sake, at one point we were proud of referring to our little Miami Heat Arena with the three-letter abbreviation. But even in the backdrop of the whole Sam Bankman-Fried scam, we thought it was the perfect time to discuss a little project we’ve been working on for quite some time. It’s actually one of the most important projects we’ve ever worked on as a company. It is a Web3/DeFi we call Luxry (yes, a deliberate misspelling of the world “luxury”). We give you a little glimpse of it during this video and yes, it’s related to watches and other luxury goods. Here’s the site:

So I finally get my friend to watch the show. I know she will love the intensity of this unique family and above all, the independence of the women of CRM. So what does Sandra do immediately after I brag about her thoughtful leadership qualities? She inhales helium from a balloon so she can speak like a cartoon character!!! I knew airing the show on Saturday rather than Friday would have some crazy impact :):):) Seriously, how can you not adore the Marcelin clan? From Sandra and Charlie who transform into Mickey Mouse, we move on to Dan, our favorite leader, who shows us why this store will always be a beacon for the lost ships of the horological world. A beacon that lights the way to the digital future of watches! Indeed, not satisfied with having bewitched the physical world, CRM will soon take the Metaverse by storm! When I say Dan is a reassuring leader, I'm not just throwing compliments in the wind. Just like Malcom's character in ''Jurassic Park'' who says ''Life always finds a way'', well... Dan always finds a solution to make the company move forward...while scoring touchdowns in friendly football games (Dan for President!). Speaking of Metaverse and the World of tomorrow, the music, always so good, is particularly futuristic this week! Combine with the psychedelic images of the virtual framing of the store, CRM is surely paving the way for the others to follow as far as technology goes. Because that's all the competition can do: follow. Our favorite family is advancing and innovating so quickly that the other pretenders to the throne, far behind, can only see the back of CRM. But Carlos and the gang don't just move forward. No sir. They also take the time to do what they do best: sell watches, satisfy customers, teach us about the craft, share precious family moments and show us their new merch (God! The brown boxes for watches are coming straight from the furnaces of Heaven...)! On a sadder note, as usual, the show ends too quickly. Let us nevertheless be grateful to have had the privilege of being entertained and overwhelmed by the forbidden beauty of Natal... sorry, i mean by the forbidden beauty of the watches... Come to think of it: here's an idea for new merch: sunglasses with the CRM logo! So we can wear them during the broadcast of the show. This way, we won't be blinded by the luminescence of Natal... sorry, by the luminescence of the watches :):):) Let me finish by expressing the wish that next show is as voluminous... as Carlos' beard (No. I wouldn't shave it. This is why luxury watch industry is gonna die. For the fact watch experts can’t immediately tell the difference between a real Rolex and fake Rolex should tell you to save your $30K. Proof that spending ridiculous money is absolute waste.

yup, if you gonna spend lots of money on jewelery, buy gold at a good price! then at least you just parking your money and can enjoy it at same time! but then u can cash out at any time and get majority of it back at any point

That Thanksgiving evening and food was just exactly how I imagined the evening would be spent by the CRM family. It certainly is a long table and probably will get longer and longer over the years. Tradition is so important to hang onto in this day and age, so when I see Carlos passing on his feelings regarding items like the watch his father gave to him, I totally stand by him on that philosophy on life. I am with the females of CRM on the beard Carlos, so my vote is definitely to shave it off or to at least drastically reduce the length. The diamond ring was just stunning and quite scary to see how clever those fake watches are becoming. I read that the Hulk has many dial variants. For some years Rolex released dials with a space between the 300 and "m". The space on the dial alone is not enough to determine a watch is fake.

Guaranteed that's a VS Factory Hulk. 99.9% of the watch loving population will not be able to tell the difference compared to a genuine Hulk. And for those who would love to buy a genuine Hulk but can't afford one, guess what they're going to do? You buy the next best thing to a genuine and NO ONE will know the difference (except when you're seen driving your Honda Civic - LOL!). That's how good the replicas have gotten. And there are multiple factories who make Subs and Daytonas that are virtually indistinguishable from genuine. The Subs are insanely accurate to genuine.
Or you can work, save and sacrifice for a real one and EARN it. Young generation needs to get past the instant gratification mindset, it won't serve you well in the real world.

One thing I still cannot fathom is the usefulness and advantages of the NFT for people. Why would anyone want to buy in the virtual world rather than in the real world ? I don’t get it really.
From the video the super clone looked indistinguishable from the real thing, a loupe inspection may tell otherwise though. But should the Rolex movement not have a free balance wheel where are it would be different for the clones ?
Panerai had a calibres scandal whereas their calibres are from ETA, Val Fleurier or else they advertised these as in-house… Historically Panerai did not manufacture watches, their watches were modified Rolex pocket watches modified by Rolex for Panerai, again the brand did not disclose this… As a result people lost confidence in Panerai and their market values dropped considerably…

All we're doing is working on tokenization of real world assets. There's a huge demand for that. The Metaverse is just an added feature that complements that.

I know this video is old, but… are we sure that watch is fake? It’s hard to tell from the video because it doesn’t stay still enough for very long, but the fake watch also has a free sprung balance. I’ve never seen that on a clone movement.

Ough....Charley only love brother but painful to watch you open these watches that fast without plastic cover on the 5700, 😅, i use a foam bed in between the clamps, then you can cut a piece of plstic from a ziplock bag to place on the case to you have better grip and the case wont be scratched.. these are expensive pieces to handle them like that :D
