This hunt never gets old. Great effort and what a buck of a lifetime. He would make a great full body mount Remi. Absolutely stunning. I love the way you were able to get yourself and the herd on film after the shot. Great camera placement and a little luck never hurts.
Congratulations Remi. One can measure the success of a hunt in many ways, on this occasion, it's certainly that trophy Fallow Buck. Fortunately for you, he didn't venture too far into that patch of Matagouri!
I think those are one of the coolest looking of all the deer species. The palmation on their antlers is reminiscent of a moose. Their coats have a lot of variety of coloration as well.

Hey Remi, fantastic stalk with a bow in Central Otago open country mate with so many does keeping an eye on you. A great lesson for all on how to stalk whilst using a bow. Beautiful fallow deer, love hunting them here in South Africa as well, one I had to crawl over a 100m through wetlands to get with in 30 yards from where he was bedded. Beautiful country you are hunting in as well, keep these great hunting videos coming!

Congrats on a great Buck,Remi. Fallow are one of the toughest Deer around, you`ve got a special trophy, and then with a C. Bow and spot and stalk. He is worth more than any of those penned up animals. Nice job Remi, keep up the great Video`s. One question on you , you shoot a recurve bow, have you ever thought of shooting your compound instinctive and with finger gloves ? No ranger finder, no clacking release, and quicker shot, just asking.

You should look into the EZV sight. It seems gimmicky but it really works great for run and gun spot and stalk. I live in SW Kansas and I am very successful spot and stalking whitetails.

Alright, I have a problem with Remi. He’s got a clean beard edge on the day he shoots the buck, and the next morning it looks like he hasn’t been edged up in weeks. What the hell man? As a bearded man, I applaud your beard growing abilities.

Really amazing hunt. Cant really say enough about your persistence to get these animals on camera by yourself. kudos. Also just curious, about how far was that shot? It looked to be about 70+ yards. But video is deceiving. Excellent though.
