Looking back, I think not having Timber really hurt us this season. We havenât had a comfortable LB in that position all season. I just hope we can keep it closer than last season, then make some positive signings in the summer

fully agree with Dan. Havertz in midfield doesn't work. back four of white, Gabriel, Saliba and kiwior has been working just fine. why switch it up ?
Kiwior didn't play the last 2 league games and also was shambolic against Bayern and dragged at half time
100% agreed. Best most real and honest interview on here tonight
Yep, among them, Dan and Lee Judges are the best equipped to deal with reality. Lee has a few lapses in a season though, but he can be honest when the chips are down.
And he said guarantee right there not gonna drop points on will see bro anything can happen
City have won just as many games as Arsenal this season. They have dropped points and they may still. Nothing is certain in this life. Statically it is not over, and Iâm going to be pragmatic and treat it as such.
He changed the system because he doesn't want to play Partey. Simple as. Emery schooled this clown.
đ
What did Partey do to him ??? This was a game we needed partey to start in...why play havertz in midfield again ??? Keep him at number 9 and play Jesus on the wing...simple, arteta made a rookie mistake
Yeah I agree with this
That's why we need a better manager. Casts out quality for shoddy replacements. Partey is that player who takes us up a gear, pushing forward with penetrating passing and quality movement & retention whilst operating in a phone box. Partey's absences are main reason last season's fluency & flow are still lacking.

I just can't defend Arteta anymore at this point. He's really let everyone down.
Same as last season. He has a Southgate mentality, worries about the opposition more than having confidence in his players going toe to toe. Small team mentality.
He should take the full responsibilty for the defeat and the fact that Liverpool lost and city had won previously is enough for this stubborn and overconfidence Mikel to go fully hard with strong line up for the game.
Rice running around like a headless chicken, jorginho with assists to the opponents and partey sitting on the bench watch nketiah and ESR play.
Agreed. This defeat is on arteta. Partey is that player that can improve team output and efficiency with early forward passing and intricate movement. Arteta doesn't get it, like not grasping Zinchenko is a colossal liability unfiting of the team nor is Havertz a midfielder ffs. Thank you Arteta for not knowing your job.
Laurieâs âIâve followed football long enough to know [more twists and turns are coming]â is a redundant point.

@@josephgreen2824the luck with the spurs game is that it is played before the last game. Seeing arsenal and Liverpool capitulation, I donât think the spurs game will matter by that time.
@@josephgreen2824 It is definitely a scary game for us as they are some sort bogey team over the years but I think this Big Ange philosophy will play in our hands as they can't defend and play high line so they aren't that defensive counter attacking team that created so much trouble over the years. What is Jesus? And why Wenger again....he is gone bloke ..he is not running the club..leave him alone!!!
You watched that game and all you took from it was that we need a world class striker? When did you start watching football?
Arteta has an absolute howler in the team selection. Tomas Partey doesnt even come on and we bottled it again.

I dont know why Arsenal managers do the same mostakes. Why do u think about another game before winning the ones before u.Same mentality Wenger had on latter years.Very poor thinking.
It's over. The last time I felt this way was the moment Timber's injury seemed like a cruciate to me at the very beginning of the season. I actually wondered then why we are this unlucky. I believe most people who understood why we bought Timber may have felt terrible as well.
I remember looking at the rest of the fixtures and thinking out of the three arsenal have games where you can just see them dropping points whereas Man City you just donât see them really dropping any, and Liverpool was a surprise but at the same time itâs also understandable when you look at a team like Crystal Palace they wonât lose once they got something to play for

Genuine Arsenal fans knows Arteta can only make us compete but can't take us across the finish line. He always panic with either his team selections or tactics during crucial games and he's not learning from them. The title is easier for us to win this season than last because Liverpool took points off City unlike last season but Arteta will not be able to take advantage of these points trust me, I have seen this cycle over and over again, Even in Wenger's latter years with us. I don't just know why Arteta can't learn and some of us want him to do well just like what Xabi did with Bayer

City thrashed both teams recently in Palace and Villa. and both those teams beat their rivals today. Which only goes to show that City have won the league. No way they will drop points now.
Itâs not over.. this attitude will not help.. we have to keep going
Winning man of the match dictates Smith Rowe is ready to stand in for Martinelli. If Arteta hasn't grasped Zinchenko is a colossal liability then he never will. Denying Partey time amounts to leaving your most dangerous weaponry at home as you step out for battle. These aren't the traits of a title winning manager. We need better. How many botched titles before the obvious sinks in!?!
Agreed 100 %. !
Whatâs Havertz doin spying behind Robbie right shoulder
I said weeks ago City were going to win - you could see that just by looking at the run-in. This âcrumbleâ was always going to happen. Also letâs be honest - Arsenal have been outstanding in 2024 but the margins are so tight that one defeat against a very good side is considered a âcrumbleâ.
Man City, unfortunately, are the best team in the world.
Arteta has done brilliantly so far. Got to keep building. BUT also got to bring silverware of some type home next season.
It isnât done yet⊠but it close. Citeh could still drop points⊠but not many. Weâre on thin ice atm.

Dan is pretty hard on us when it comes to his opinions, but where heâs probably right is about Man Citys flipping run in and the chances of them dropping many points
Fight till last seconds!!!...we support the team till end!!!
Yep, Manchester City will be the EPL champions again after Arsenal's humiliating performance against a well-organised and determined Aston Villa under Unai Emery. Arteta took the wrong approach, and Aston Villa unquestionably deserved to win. What surprises me is that Arteta also makes incorrect subs. Although Kai Havertz has performed well in recent matches, this one was not for him, and Arteta should have known and made a change rather than keeping him on the pitch. Arteta should have considered defending instead of winning in the 80th minute because Unai Emery was there to cause an upset, which they did. Arteta bears responsibility for the loss. Another season without a trophy, and I do not see Manchester dropping any points from now on. And most likely, we will drop more points now and even lose to Bayern Munich in the second leg of the UCL. Well, good luck to Arsena. Gunner for Life!
I hope we don't drop points and city drop points it looks unlikely but we have seen stranger things happen in the past. Still 6 games to go and anything can happen

Expert waffling Robbie is back
Well, I am a city fan I still think the title is not yet done. Arsenal and Liverpool both still have chance to win it. But the big question is how both teams going to react in the next games. 2 points 6 games to go, still anything is possible. City also got some tricky fixtures in Fulham and Tottenham away. And not to forget brighton.
Come on now the same thing gets said every year letâs be honest you are winning the league
â@@steffanh9368Arsenal are obviously out of the title race considering the fact that they have still to play Man Utd, Chelsea & Spurs. They will drop 3 or 5 points from these 3 games.
