Hey guys, hope you are all doing well. Thanks for the amazing comments. If you like the video, don't forget to give it a like. I don't like to ask for it, but it really helps me out a lot. I don't get paid for these reaction videos, because it's not my original content and it either gets blocked or copyrighted. So a like really helps me out because it affects the CZcams algorithm and it can help suggest these videos to other people. I believe a lot of reaction channels do BTS reactions on the main songs to get a lot of views and that's it. I really respect these guys as an artist and I'm going to probably do all of their songs over time. So if you would like me to do that, please consider hitting the like button. Now of course, you do not have to do it, but it helps me. Thanks and love.

Suga once said in a recent interview "what's wrong with crying? It's just water coming out of your body". So yeah, he wants people to normalize crying. Men can cry, too. There is nothing wrong with showing your emotion. It can actually help us to deal with it. Your reaction warms my heart. I can see how much you've learned about BTS and how much you appreciate them as artists and people.
I listen to your song Destiny and I really like it. Just like Yoongi's and BTS's songs, I can feel the emotion from every word you put into the song. I can resonate with that.
I hope you'll continue making music while reacting to BTS and other artists, as well. This has been a journey for me to appreciate hiphop as a genre and rap artists in general, since I also watch your other reaction. So, thank you. You nice, keep going.

yipes... the translations are not correct lol someone just used google translate, so it's wrong. here are the real lyrics:
    Yeah yeah, a gentle breeze
    People that brush past
People that soak into the heart
What kind of person am I?
    Am I a good person?
    Or a bad person?
There may be many ways to judge
    But I'm just a person
    Everyone will live on
    Everyone will love
    Everyone will fade away
    And be forgotten
People change, just as I've changed
There is nothing that lasts forever in this world
Everything is just a happening passing by
    [Verse 2]
I flow the way water flows
At the end there might be something
Special life, ordinary life, each in its own way
What's good is good, in the end
    What's good is good
Things don’t always go as intended
Discomfort is something everyone has to withstand
The repetition of dramatic situations can make your life exhausting
    People are like that
When you’re not there, you want to be there, and when you are, you don’t want to
Who said people are animals of wisdom?
For me, obviously, we are animals of regret
People change, just as I've changed
There is nothing permanent in the world
Everything is just a happening passing by
    [Pre-Chorus]
Someone's ordinary can be someone's uniqueness
Someone's uniqueness can be someone's ordinary
    (x2)
    [Chorus]
    So what?
What if you just brush by?
    So what?
    What if you get hurt?
Sometimes you might get hurt again
Sometimes you might shed tears upset
    So what?
What if you live like that?

I believe it was Jhope but one of the members said that Suga is one of the most caring and thinks about the members the most.
Yoongi is introverted but he is very observant and a deep thinker. He actually is one of the most open to his feelings compared to some of the other members.
I recommend watching this video to get to know that side better: Yoongi being a single parent for Bangtan
Edit: Plus Yoongi is blunt and says what he means. He doesn’t try to sugar things. (Even his actions are true: if he finds something funny he will laugh, etc.) Sometimes I think people will think he is mean person for this reason as well.

Yoongi is so kind and caring! On his own birthday he made over 300 handwritten notes and gifts for fans to show them his love. He is the one, who always writes inspiring lyrics to help others. He is literally studying psychoanalysis to help people. He is always there to help others. For example, he took another trainee to the hospital in the middle of the night and paid hospital bills with his own money, when he was struggling himself. He carried Hobi on his back to the hospital and stayed on Christmas with him so he doesn't feel lonely. There are so many stories about him being amazing person. Members are always saying that he supports them a lot, they said that he is the person who cares about BTS the most. RM said: "It's SUGA who supported the team inside and out"

Saram (people) got to be Namjoon and Yoongi most favourite topic to dwell on in their lyricism. Both of them got this genius level of writing and composing. Yoongi mostly looks at the world realistically with all the brunt and hardship that comes with it so that is why we always find the truth behind his words. Maybe you should check out Namjoon's Trivia: Love from BTS's Love Yourself: Answer album where he talks about how the word saram (people) can turn to sarang (love) just by eroding a stroke in the Korean alphabets used to write it. Much love and appreciation for your continuous efforts of putting out these good contents and reactions Anthony! I really appreciate all your opinions and thoughts on lyricism! #YouNiceKeepGoing

I'll step forward and be honest. I manage bipolar type 2 and anxiety, and the music of Agust D (this song, in particular, is undoubtedly my favourite Agust D song) resonates with me in ways no other artist's music has ever resonated with me (by extension the music of RM, j-hope, and BTS). This is one of those songs which every time I listen to it, I feel like I have a different perception about it, or insight into it. "Who said humans are the animals of wisdom, to my eyes, it's obvious they are animals of regret" hits me every time. I also love when he goes back and forth with the lyrics "your being special is rather my being ordinary, your being ordinary is rather my being special". Your first interpretation of those lyrics was spot on. What we consider extraordinary is ordinary for him, and what he considers extraordinary is what is ordinary for us. Damn, this song is perhaps one of my favourite songs ever. I listen to it so much that I understand the Korean - not because I know Korean, but because I have listened to this song while thinking about the lyrics so much that I know what he's saying in each line.

As you said, people change, I'm also the one that changed my view of BTS..I don't know in western media, but here in Japan, Japanese media mostly reported about the bad side of BTS, although I don't really trust media I just thought "oh they're just another pop idol group", which is common in Japan or Korean industries that pop idol music doesn't really have message to convey.
So I was blown away by their music and positive message, once I really found out last year. And they helped me getting through my mental health issue, I didn't know that what I felt for past 3 years was depression, I just thought that was my temporary feelings. I listened a lot to Agust D's music last year, and it was really hard for me, but finally I took a step and went to a counseling and now I'm also taking medication for my depression. It's still hard but if I didn't listen to BTS, I might continue suffering for not getting mental health care for myself. So yeah, I really appreciate BTS music, especially Suga for opening up about his struggle in his music, and also giving healing to people.

I’m so curious about BTS’ global effect on the idol industry. They’ve undoubtedly set higher standards for music in general, but especially the lyricism/messages within it.
I do have a question about pop idol music in Japan: Have you noticed if idol groups release more meaningful songs today? Or do you think it’s still the classic, “cookie cutter” pop idol music you always knew from before?

@@sugamama4049 Hi, thanks for the message and the question!
Well, I think Jpop idols actually do have positive messages compared to Kpop before, but usually just the same "don't give up, keep going on" things, so not really catch my attention 😅 I think BTS is the first idol group that made me research a lot about their lyricism through books, movies, and other musics that they gave references.
It's hard to know BTS impact on idol music industry in Japan in the field of lyricism, bcs the media usually show them as a pop group with awesome performance, never about their lyricism.
And whenever idol groups in Japan talk about BTS, is also about their cool style and performances so I don't really know if they pay attention to the lyrics, or maybe they are, but just not showing it (I think its kinda sensitive in Japan for media to talk about Korean music, esp lyrics in Korean) 😅
Although for the music itself, there was one time that Kameda Seiji (famous bassist in Japan, he also played in a band called Tokyo Jihen) reviewed "Dynamite" on Japanese TV show, he said "the sound production in Dynamite is so perfect that whenever you listen to it, whether its on phone, earphones or studio speakers, it sounds amazing. I use Dynamite as my standard for sound engineering", and I think that's really a cool thing because he is one of the greatest musicians in Japan and its really rare to happen (to reviewing BTS) especially on mainstream media.

I can't express enough my love for Daechwita, but People is still my favourite song of the D-2 Mixtape. Even though I fully didn't understand the lyrics (you gave me some more insight to this, thank you) It's just something about the melody and Yoongi's voice and his delivery that catches my heart.
Thank you for the reaction, Anthony! I got excited when I saw you reacted to it. Watching your videos is my morning routine now haha. I always get my breakfast and coffee and watch your new reaction and I love it.

When you admitted that you didn't like BTS "JUST because", it made me respect you even more. There's a LOT of people out there that STILL won't admit that they have NO reason to dislike them... I'm REALLY glad you gave them a chance and are loving the results! Thank you for all the reactions! We REALLY appreciate it! Much love!! 💜🤟🤪

the most amazing thing is that he finds their lyrics so deep and this video for instance is an example of a reeeeally poor translation, but even with good ones there's still things that convey additional meanings in the original, like i'm a beginner korean learner so i recently broke down the lyrics of this song, i used the translations available and i translated words and phrases that i felt like could mean more when the traslations looked like enough, i just googled language learning forums and checked for soooo long... and like in a single line there's so much stuff... the one where he says 'people change, i guess i've changed' there's literally such a cool layer of this like depressed acceptance and surprise but SADNESS AND INEVITABILITY in the way it's said, and there are all these metaphors aaa ok i'm sorry i'm just excited and love korean. this comment is just to be even more amazed at poet yoongi anyway

I consider myself lucky as being an army but the realisation that brought tears in my eyes after 1 month of stanning BTS was that I AM ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE SINGING , What they want to convey to us , to world - their lyrics are so deep and every single word they say , write , rap has a meaning that not everybody in this fandom can understand, I literally know some people who just like them because of their looks , not everyone can get to the core of the song lyrics, they can give you a reason to love a “leaf rolling on the ground”and world will awe at them . period

you are so right and I liked that you talked about BTS not being afraid to show their sensitive and elegant side. It is something so important because they weren't always like that and we can take Jimin and Namjoon (RM) as examples. Jimin was stuck with masculinity and trying to appear better in the publics' eyes and what they expected, skinny, muscular, fit, bad boy attitude. Namjoon labeled himself as Rap Monster and would call himself "Monster" because he believed that what he was but now we see Jimin accepted who he is, he lets his elegant side show where we see his beauty and confident side, Namjoon said in an interview as well that now he is "RM" for "Real Me", he told himself not to call himself a monster anymore because he know he isn't one. The best part of BTS is that they aren't afraid to let us know their insecurities and true selves, they let us know because they see it as normal and let others know it is normal.

Oh and by the way, I've been listening a lot to your music and my favorite songs are 26 and On Lockdown. I love the part on 26 where you say :
"Success isn't in numbers or digits"
I take it as ..., you can have the best job, be great at it, make lots of money..basically what society calls" Success " , but are you really living your personal best life or the life you're expected.
"I'm Successful cuz I woke up
    living"
Doesn't matter what you do in your life as long as you are living YOUR BEST LIFE..thats Success !
I got all that from those 2 lines! Love it ! I could go on and on but overall it's a great message.
On Lockdown, love the roof top location and you look amazing, very sexy when you rap. I love that growl 🥵. " I am the king of this life that I've made" ..and you know I'm the Queen of the life that I've made for myself!! I'm not taking no shit. Hahha that song gets me hyped thinking about ppl that have crossed me in the past and nobody can cross me anymore cuz I can see that shit coming from a mile away!
