Yup got bears in my hood. This is one of the baby bears who is now out on his own. Bummer that he found the cherry tree in my neighbors yard...and hangs over my driveway.

I think I told you I grew up in Montana. A Grizzle is the same they get into your garbage break into your pole barn. And you can forget how wild they can be until they stand on their hind haunches and you realize their only cute in books and at a safe distance. Don’t ever make one mad.

Momma is gone... at 18 months she throws the babies out. So he's one of the 3 cubs that's on his own. x

I’m in awe. In Germany there is no way to encounter a bear.
What has always make me wonder about bears is that they are one of the most dangerous animals but look cute and friendly. Usually nature warns us giving animals a dangerous look. Poisonous frogs for example have strong warn colors. Lions and others are fast and furious and then one looks at this fellow and just sees a fluffy, clumsy professional 'cuddler'. Maybe I’m biased after growing up with the books about Paddington and also Winnie and having had from day one a giant peluche of a brown bear. It was the mascot of the winter olimpic Games held in Russia. I was sleeping on him as a baby. So for me it’s like: bear please stay for a cup of tea, hahahaha.
