Me and my dad and my best friend that I’ve known since fourth grade are going on the Vista on November 2. This will be me and my dad’s second ever cruise. We went on the carnival Mardi Gras November of last year and this will be my best friends first ever cruise.

That ship really did have lots of space for an older ship... it rarely felt crowded, except for the food venues... I just felt like they didn't have quite enough staff. Hopefully, that has improved by now...
I’m sure they did, that was the only issue I could find. It definitely felt under staffed at times. All in all it was an amazing cruise!

Our Spa Balcony cabin was exactly like your regular balcony cabin. Only difference was the color of the sink was more green than blue, there was Elemis Shampoo and Body Wash, 2 robes hanging in the first closet, and 2 pairs of slippers. Everything else was exactly the same as a regular balcony.
Nice little added perks! That Spa pass makes it worth it!

We have really enjoyed the Spa Cabins on this ship.
The cruising business has really exploded in popularity. Not sure why, but I have socks in my drawer for longer than what some call an older ship.
Older ships our some of my favorite ships! I love to cruise on all ships, but there is something about them older ships that keeps me coming back for more!

I liked the presentation of your ship tour. The ship itself has a pop of color without being gaudy. The small shower in the cabin is a negative, as is the shower curtain. Were the beds comfortable? It didn't seem overly crowded. Was the ship at capacity? I hope you sent Chuck back to the arcade to win one of those Squishmallows on the crane machine. Thank you for the tour!
The shower wasn’t too bad, the beds were very comfortable and most were replaced during the dry dock is what I was told by staff. The ship was sailing full but I feel they were a little in the short end with staff. Over all the only areas that felt crowded were the food venues at times. Other than that everything was great!

Cruise hack when it comes to showers: when I'm sharing a room with someone and we're both getting ready for dinner I'll head to the gym/spa and use those showers. They're large with glass doors. I can't stand that shower curtain cling.
I agree with you about the BBQ. I know its popular, but for me it is "meh" at best.

The Layout is similar with a few things making it different in its own way.
