My cousin lives in Haad Yao. She's here in Guernsey due to give birth but she'll be back in KP in September :) I love KP, but I haven't explored Haad Rin beach so much.
Haad Rin was really nice. We did visit a few other beaches, same side of isla d, nice too...

If your going to stay there go to palita lodge best place to stay there and brilliant food. The abandoned place you walked up the stairs too was the old mushroom mountain bar you can guess what that was about but in its day prime viewing at night.
Also highly recommend getting a boat taxi from there to next beach around the corner haad yuan it's spectacular

Love Koh Phangan. Weather was questionable when we were there as well. Haad Rin and all the beache’s in Phangan were beautiful. Glad you guys are still living the dream.
