My favourite song in the folklore album
I love looking at people’s eyes moving along as the lyrics go.
I think lines 2 and 4 were her haunting the person she didn't wanna have to haunt. She still talks to them even though they clearly don't speak so her words transcend and she knows they still get her message
You're right it's hard to sing at low vocals
Her lower range is impressive and we can hear it very clearly in Folklore! Love it!
Her vocals seem to be softer. But not uninteresting. My ears tend to tire of the whispering thing, i.e. Billie Eilish. Like her music but hard to listen to her album all the way through. I can't stop listening to folklore. May I suggest the next song be seven or betty? Invisible string is also lovely.
This song sounds as good as original even in folklore long pond session.
I think the lines 2/4 in the background are him in the middle of the night remembering her because he is haunted. This is a ghost at the funeral.
Liked the reaction and just to let you know most of all these songs are fictional and shes been in a relationship for 5 years. Also this song is a metaphor for her old record label that she left after the drama went down between them taking her music. But she hide it with a relationship. Like when she said "and when you sleep at night, your hear my stolen lullaby"
