This song is sung by Freddie Mercury ánd Roger Taylor.
Lyrics:
When I hear that rock and roll,
It gets down to my soul,
When it's real rock and roll, oh rock and roll.
Oh oh, oh oh,
You really think they like to rock in space?
Well I don't know
What do you know?
What do you hear?
On the radio
I said mama
I ain't crazy
I'm alright - alright
Hey, c'mon baby said its alright
To rock and roll on a saturday night
I said shoot and get your suit and come along with me
I said c'mon baby down come and rock and roll with me, I said yeah.
What do you do?
To get to feel alive?
You go downtown
And get some of that prime jive,
I said mama etc.
We're gonna rock it............ tonight.
(we want some prime jive)
(we want some prime jive)
We're gonna rock it tonight
C'mon honey
Get some of that prime jive
Get some of that, get, get down
C'mon honey - we're gonna rock it tonight. - Hudba
My favorit band! Queen forever!
Roger Taylor has a great voice. I never noticed that before -- I mostly focused on Freddie
Ted Cantu. Roger also did the high pitch vocals on Queen
@@coltlowe1121 In Somebody to love, what sounds like brian may hitting a few high notes on the guitar is actually Roger's double-tracked high pitched "Yeah!"
Roger Taylor and his other band The Cross brought out a superb album in the 1980s called SHOVE IT.Really great songs
This is the tune that made me fall in love withe Queen.
Una de las mejores canciones de Roger, y una de mis grandes favoritas de Queen¡¡¡¡¡¡
Super clásico de todos los tiempos, excelente tema, Freddie Mercury Brian May John Deacon Roger Taylor.
wow, this song is awesome. I am in awe of roger coz how anyone can have the stamina just to drum is beyond me and then to sing and drum that fast at the same time?!?! jeez! bloody awesome. favourite band of all time.
You should see the drummer from Metalica then this one can take his deserved second place, because metalica drummer is amazing, would have loved to see him for queen back then what a combination.
Well he probably recorded the vocals separately in the studio and the drums on a different take tbf and live Freddie would sing whole song so basically roger never had to drum and sing the song but he is amazing and does drum and sing for im in love with my car👍
@@Wipeout186 omg yes I love Lars Ulrich!! So cool to see another metal fan here!
@@philfitnesspt6139 yeah I'm sure they did do some double tracking in the studio but he does usually do a lot of backing vocals on stage which is impressive too! Also I'm In Love With My Car is one of my favourite Queen songs of all time so I love that he sings that one live!
@@philfitnesspt6139 haha . its funny that people don't realize that.
Someone must have butt dialed and accidentally hit those thumbs down buttons 4 times, because this song rocks!
damn right it does
Yep 11 pole smoking wannabes!
Queen et Freddie c'est 🔥🔥🔥💣💣💣♥️♥️♥️ma bonne dose de came quotidienne
It gets down to my soul.
the best album put out by queen
Wow!! 42 years!! And this is still relevant!!!
This album is actually a gem. Another one bites the dust is their best selling single, and this song and Crazy little thing called love are the only 2 songs that reached # 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.
This song and Coming Soon are infectious... great power pop.
Loved this song when I first heard it being played in a department store music department back in late 1980.
My favourite Queen song. :)
You were lucky...I was 9 month old in 1980 🤣
QUEEN= ROCK!!!
Side Two of The Game is & always was an utter masterpiece. As overplayed as Side One was back at the time, it sounds glorious now, compared to all the crap we've been forcefed since, esp in the past decade or so.
So damn underrated
com esse rock eu levita..... flutuoo.......voo..
Crazy sexy cool rock n droll!❤️😉👍🤟😃
I always liked Rogers compositions on Queen albums! Have a few of his later solo albums too.
And The Cross 😎
damn he had a set of pipes
Both of them :)
LOL
lol I realize how that sounds now! lol I meant because both Freddie and Roger sing this..that they both had a set of pipes...:)
Gregory Boyce lol it's all good
One of the best guitar solo ever played ...
DEFINITELY, FREDDIE WE NEED YOU WE MISS YOU...
one of the great rock songs of all time, u fn rock freddie
Amazing song by Queen 😊❤️❤️❤️
Goose bumps.... Any time I hear this song... :-). That intro..... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawful.... :-)
me too
Amazing!!!!!!!! I love this music!!!
Love this song by Queen
This song was always a favourite of mine.
I like a night at the opera better but still this rocks
When I hear that rock and roll, it gets down to my soul, when it's real rock and roll, oh rock and roll.......
GRANDE QUEEN Y POR SIEMPRE
Fabulosaaaaaa
A melhor de todas
Yesss! This song rocks!
Wish Roger did more solo work....he would've been as warmly received as The Boss.
+jmiester25 He's put out 5 albums since the early 80's.
If that tells you anything about his songwriting abilities.
+jmiester25 He has done alot of solo work. Listen to The Cross also.
He has quite a bit of solo work available!
1983 unforgettable!!
Agente tinha uma turma de rock essa era uma das preferidas que rolava no club era de mais.
What do you know? What do you hear...on the radio...comin' through the air...
Show show 👍👍👍
Love❤
Guitar solo equals incendiary device in my face.
Looks perfectly in Rock Odyssey (1987)
stop we will never hear good Radio again til young people appreciate then try to outdo
Ese fue mi primer album que compre en mis años pubertos
Best style Rock´N Roll after 40 years. Come on mthfckrs WAKE UP YOUR NEIGHBOURS !!!
So Freddie finally broke down and played on an electric organ something he vowed he never would do!!!
great saterday
😭😭😭😭😭como te extraño Freddie!!!!
When i hear at Queen.......😍😢
@petesn fair enough...when you compare it to queen 1 and II, it's hard to match anything with the effort they put into those- especially II
Their best album !
Freddie at his very best ! To me he will always be one of the greatest singers !
Great album
Hoje quando mostro essa faixa, ninguém entende nada e chavam que o Queen se resumía em Fredie Mercury.
top
When he said shoot and get your suit
My little sister thought he said chew on your soup
Great song. Kind of like they were trying to do something like the Cars would have.
@petesn huh? It's different, but adds to their legend. How can you NOT like this album?
Bless Ben Orr !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
Well, yeah, but Ben Orr was in the Cars. Queen's bass player was John Deacon.
👍👍👍
can't believe a 1987 cartoon is what brought me here,
What cartoon is that?
David Bird
rock odyssey
coolness, I'll look it up! Cool group aren't they!
A virtual POV of a new coaster opening next year brought me here
QUEENTHE INCOGNITIV
I don't understand 16 dislike
Great song brilliant Rodger !! Love it xx
Rrrrrrrockssss!
Somebody commented the lyrics in a video and I-
Had no clue
Guitar intro sound's similar to Design For Life by Manic Street Preacher's in a way or Love Hurt's by Nazareth.
a great track from a patchy album
What? It was great album and sold amazing well 🤷♂️lol

@@ahard-daysnight6659 when he says shoot. That means shoot up... Heroine

kinda sounds like anti nowhere league-minus the synths and sped up
truck pensil..move..
Green Day - Brutal love.. It have almost the same intro! :D
Guitar intro sound's similar to Design For Life by Manic Street Preacher's in a way or Love Hurt's by Nazareth. James Dean Bradfield to me is the second coming of Freddie Mercury. Just check out No Surface All Feeling from Everything Must Go by Manic's for evidence.
and this was the album that I gave up on them ..creatively.
Your loss!
@Roggiedodgie please dont hit me.......I liked queen until this album..I thought this was twee and found it Very easy NOT to like ...Tracks like She Makes Me and most of queen 1 and 2 are what I prefer....sorry but......no
Your loss its great album
Lousy album, ridiculous cover, cheap album name... but GREAT song by Roger, in his typical style, and brilliant guitar solo... not enough save the whole thing, yet one of my favourite Queen track !
