About Freeze: the SKZ song names often are different in Korean and in English (for example, 'Thunderous' is the English name of the song, the Korean name is Sorikkun, which translates to 'singer'). The same here: 'Freeze' is the English name, but the Korean name is 'Ddang'. Ddang doesn't translate to 'freeze' - in the tag game, these are basically the opposites. The cop says 'freeze' and you can't move anymore, until one of the thieves on your team tags you and says 'ddang'
There is a universe, where Stray Kids are on the journey of finding themselves during the first 7 EPs (there's even an official map connecting the MVs). The journey didn't end there (the Go Live album with God's Menu came after that kinda with a plot twist). Lonely St. has references to that journey where they were truly astray (and yes, a clever word play) :)
But I can't connect why Lee Know is the only one awake in the end, as he is in Venom as well. There is something about Lee Know in this album 😏

From what i have understood by looking into it in other videos and comments, the "story" in freeze starts with the newspaper at the beginning talking about a gang selling stuff on the streets, then we follow the two teams of SKZ (broken up between muddy water unit and waiting for us unit) as they go under cover to try and bust the criminal organisation. They get caught and have to break themselves out and get away, taking down the criminals in the process. However when it gets to the end the newspaper that Hyunjin is reading says that the boss of the criminals is still at large and it lists a few characteristics of the boss... which just so happen to match I.N. who gives us a sassy smirk while shooting us and walking out. So I.N. is a triple agent lol.

I find it incredible that they've drawn me into styles of music that I wouldn't normally be into. Waiting for Us is not at all my style but I still really like it. I think it's the arrangement and switch-ups throughout the songs that prevent them from becoming clichè or boring that I enjoy most. I too love the Jazz music at the start of Muddy Water and it definitely has that speak-easy feel to it, which makes Felix's deep, raspy vocals so perfect to follow up with.

Stray Kids Bias is Lee Know but that changes daily. It has been all of them, probably changes per song 🎵
My fave song is either Venom, Muddy Water or Red Lights!
I think Blackpink is a great entry point and kill this love got me hooked but I think God's Ddu ddu ddu kingdom performance is also a good start. ATEEZ the real is also mind blowing and would convert anyone.

Fun Fact (and I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this yet): In the beginning of "Freeze" there are four of them in the warehouse, and four of them who go into the meeting with the rival gang, and they are split up into the groups for the unit songs, "Waiting for Us" being Bang Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin & I.N and "Muddy Waters" being Changbin, Hyunjin, Han & Felix!

Literally just sat and watched all of your skz reaction videos and I just gotta say, you need to do a reaction to their live performance of “never ending story” that shit humbled me real quick. They can really do any genre.
I believe that lonely street is about the isolation you feel when you are truly "odd". Being outside the ordinary can feel incredibly lonely.

whenever you have time you should check BTS songs, especially since you like rap, hip hop, you will be mind blown by their rap line or solo projects.
The word "daeng" or "ddaeng" is meant to represent the sound of a bell, when you get out in a game of tag, or used as the word "wrong" it does represent the sound you made as well. Thisnis my knowledge in the word but it does have multiple meanings/representations

All kpop groups do all genre music. They have so many members and there's endless possibility of what they can do. This gives them versatility. they do sub-unit songs in the group.
I think is not the fact that having a lot of members in a group means that a group is able to do all genre music.
For instance Muddy Water is an old school rap genre, or Freeze that has dubstep
the group has to think that they want those genre in their album, I remember Changbin saying that he would love to try old school rap ( ro touch different generations) and other members liked the idea as well (but it's hard cause those genre are not trendy at the moment) then you have to produce it knowing how the different member voice's would fit the song etc...that's why not any group can do all genre music
Stray kids can do it cause they are self produced and they have been experimenting new music since they debut
I wouldn't generalize like that - there are lots of kpop groups that can't cover such a variety of genres due to different reasons.
But there are some that can. Stray Kids is definitely one of them and they've proven it with all the EPs and albums before, and they keep proving it and keep experimenting

@@sissi7909 look. If they dont have good singers they cant do good ballads. If they dont have rappers that wants to do a real rap song they cant do it. There are so many members and all of their music taste is different. Some wants to do ballad some wants to do rap for example. Also there are a lot of groups who does all genres and not self produced. Also there are groups that does it and self produced. I can name at least 25 kpop group that does all genres.
@@sissi7909 For example Pentagon. One of their members wanted to do a song like bohemian rhapsody and they produced The Game. One of them wanted to do a energetic song and they did that. They’re self produced and they say what kind of song they want to do this time and they do it bc they all have different opinions. Groups peoducer members likes rock so they do rock songs like Basquiat.
