Experimental fashion: Coat draping Zero-Waste design

Elena explains the way to explore zero-waste coat design draping the garment on half-scale dress-form.
She drapes a coat that consists of few rectangular pieces of fabric as Elena call it "square-wear". This demo is a part of 'Zero-Waste fashion' free session that has been delivered in Saigon for designers, students and larger audience at FACE fashion workshop.
What is Zero Waste Fashion Design? The answer is simple - it is method of designing that leaves no waste; the designer completely utilizes chosen piece of fabric. Interestingly enough, in Zero-Waste practice design thinking and construction/cutting fabric, come together as one holistic process.
