Valve cover, oil pan, water and oil pump, differential housing, gearbox, gear oil sump, thermostat housing, control housing, axle cover, flange connection, headlights, rear light, battery compartment
Curing rate
The curing rate depends on the temperature and humidity. The higher the temperature and the humidity, the faster DirkoTM HT oxime cures to form silicone. The lower diagram shows the progression of the curing rate over time in a standard climate (23°C/50% relative humidity).
Usage and processing instructions:
1. Remove sealant residues and clean the sealing surfaces with solvent.
2. Sealing surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of oil or grease before applying the sealing
compound in order to ensure reliable sealing and adhesion.
3. Processing temperature (ambient / adhesion surface temperature): +5 to +35°C
4. Apply the sealing compound evenly across the entire surface.
5. Immediately remove any excess sealing compound applied, as there is a risk that it could
drip into the interior.
6. Depending on the application, the parts can be fitted immediately after application, after
skin formation or after complete curing.
Storage
- Optimum storage conditions: Cool (+5°C to +25°C) and dry location
- Minimum shelf life: 12 months in unopened containers. .
Seal opened containers securely and use up as soon as possible..
- The batch number has the following structure: YYWWCCCCC (filling date)

Vernetzungsgeschwindigkeit
Die Vernetzungsgeschwindigkeit ist abhängig von der Temperatur und der Luftfeuchtigkeit. Je höher die Temperatur und die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist, desto schneller vernetzen Dirko™ HT oxim zu Silikon. Das untere Diagramm zeigt die zeitliche Entwicklung der Vernetzungsgeschwin-digkeit bei Normklima (23°C/50% r.L.).
Gebrauchs- und Verarbeitungshinweise:
1. Dichtungsreste entfernen und die Dichtflächen mit Lösungsmittel reinigen.
2. Dichtflächen müssen vor dem Auftragen der Dichtmasse sauber, trocken, öl- und fettfrei
sein, um eine sichere Abdichtung bzw. Haftung zu ermöglichen.
3. Verarbeitungstemperatur (Umgebungs- /Haftflächentemperatur): +5 bis +35°C
4. Dichtmasse durchgehend und gleichmäßig auftragen.
5. Zu viel aufgetragene Dichtmasse sofort entfernen, da Gefahr des Hineintropfens in den
Innenraum besteht.
6. Je nach Anwendungsfall ist die Montage der Teile sofort nach dem Auftrag, nach der Hautbil- dung oder nach der vollständigen Durchhärtung möglich.
Lagerung
- Optimale Lagerbedingungen: kühl (+5°C bis +25°C) und trocken
- Mindesthaltbarkeit: 12 Monate in ungeöffneten Gebinden.
Geöffnete Gebinde gut verschließen und kurzfristig verbrauchen.

My plastic valve cover is leaking so I have cleaned the surface in the valve cover and also the engine. I replaced the rubber seal with a genuine Ford gasket but it still leaks. Can I use this to help seal the engine? Would it be suitable to use with the rubber gasket? Thanks
