I love the Samurai case. I have a Seiko Samurai SRPF03, and absolutely love it. Love it so much I bought 2 aftermarket black pvd coated cases and have built one with a blue manta style dial. The second build is going to be totally blacked out.

I'm also new to watch making, I recently made a watch using an NH35. Any tips with putting the second hand on? I think I have the same setting tools as you but I'm not sure which ones to use for which hands, I saw online that the brass bit was meant for the second hand but it seems to big, I bent my second hand but managed to rebend it back using the plastic bag method. Also I wish you luck with the smoke situation, not sure if an air purifier/filter would help, but just a suggestion.

Thanks for watching, and welcome to the addiction! If you have the same tools, I use the grey tip for the hour hand, the red for the minute hand, and the white for the second hand. I`ve never even used the third tool with the brass tip. Second hands can be tricky. I usually get down on my knees so i can see from the side instead of from above. Never hurts to have an extra set of hands.
