We analyse the intricate web of narratives, the fates of key characters, and the deep lore that binds this fantastical world together. With in-depth storytelling and meticulous attention to detail.
Elden Ring is also an action role-playing game played in a third-person perspective with gameplay focusing on combat and exploration; it features elements similar to those found in other games developed by FromSoftware, such as the Souls series, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki explained that players start with a linear opening but eventually progress to freely explore the Lands Between, including its six main areas, as well as castles, fortresses, and catacombs scattered throughout the open world map. These main areas are interconnected through a central hub that players can access later in the game's progression-similar to Firelink Shrine from Dark Souls-and are explorable using the character's mount as the main mode of transport, although a fast travel system is an available option. You've probably all heard of dark souls or bloodborne over the years and while there probably wont ever be a dark souls 4 or a Bloodborne 2 (As much as I want a bloodborne 2 i lose hope every day)the trilogy legacy and bloodborne will live on as a classic for a very long time!

I don't think any item description lies to us. That wouldn't make any sense. Because if all the descriptions can be called into question, why give them to us at all.
But you have to remember that some item descriptions literally say "it is said", "some believe" or "the legends say" and these item descriptions should of course be questioned.
So not only should we trust that all the item descriptions are accurate, we should take them quite literally.
I completely understand where your coming from, like I really do, but I think that’s the point, to confuse us so we continue to debate what actually happened. Something Grr Martin did in his books!
@@theemeraldgecko310 Yeah, that's what those that outright say it's up for debate are for. It makes no sense to lie to us in the descriptions. Because then all of them could be wrong. There is nobody to say which are true.
While I generally agree with you about trusting item descriptions, remember that it's translated from Japanese and there are dozens if not hundreds of documented examples of flawed translations from fromsoft.
If you can speak Japanese, it's the Japanese writing you should trust, not English
I get the feeling that the outer gods are beyond good and evil. Like they're entities on an entirely different scale and those words have no meaning to them. That being said, Shabriri wore my homies skin and is therefore my enemy.
I get that completely but what if your homie consented? It’s sort of a grey area I’m not sure of either, I totally get where your coming from!
I'm fascinated by the idea that Shabriri isn't in fact evil, that opens up a lot more theories of its own.
But honestly I believe you fail to provide enough solid evidence to back up this idea.
Completely appreciate your opinion, the thing about fromsoftwares games, is a lot of it has the connotations that I talk about in my videos; obviously I could be wrong but I think this is a really high possibility :)
It's not contradiction, It's clearly implied tat the people Shabriri slandered to get his eyes gouged out was The Great Caravan. Shabriri used the anguish and despair of The Great Caravan so they would summon the frenzied flame for him. The Great Caravan summoned the 3 fingers and the frenzied flame, Shabriri orchestrated it. Meaning that both are responsible for the frenzied flame. Therefore as already stated, there is no contradiction.
Great video. I’ve been saying this since the beginning. Even if you don’t agree with him, he never lies. Ever. Most people who have connections to the ending do.
Also the people who say he’s evil, also locked the merchants underground among all mute other things they did/do. Not good people.
Hyetta also never lies. She wants to end all the suffering in the world, to go back to the way it was before.

I think an interesting point to take is the fact the merchants are sealed by Morgott himself. Take it like this, if the banishment of the merchants was pre-shattering, then why wasn't it sealed by Marika, Radagon, or anyone else? Given that Marika went as far as annihilating the Fire Giants and banishing Godfrey to secure her power, it is doubtless that Marika would have done something about the Merchants and in turn the three fingers herself. To me, Marika wouldn't have trusted her Omen son Morgott unless he was the only one left to make the decisions. Then, you have the fact Morgott is the one who banished the Merchants into the capital sewers, sealing them up so they wouldn't be able to escape. I think since the Frenzied Flame wasn't even comprehended by Morgott or manifested as the three fingers, it was punishment so they were left to rot there. Then how was the three fingers manifested? Likely the same way that the two fingers manifested, as a sort of reaction to the pain and suffering of the Merchants and in turn was "assigned" to Shabriri the same way the two fingers are assigned to the demigods. I think in stating that, I am also stating that the manifestation of the two fingers were all due to the faith of the Golden order. I don't find any evidence to at least support that somehow the three fingers were once the two fingers simply off the fact they are fingers. To me, I think it is more likely that since the fingers themselves are catalysts to communicate with the outer gods i.e the golden order, the amount of fingers may represent which outer god(s) they are "tuned" to communicate with. To support this idea, we need to look at Gold Mask and the fact he communicates with his arms acting as "fingers" to communicate with the golden order. Rani has 4 freaking arms, I find it hard to believe that while connecting these methods to communicating that one of the endings has a NPC who would hypothetically have 4 "fingers" to act as antennas to communicate with the outer god related to the age of stars, the moon. Obviously we don't see Ranni doing Gold Mask poses but we do find her sleeping at key moments, likely communicating to her outer god in a specific way just like how Gold mask needs to specifically do what he does to communicate to the Golden Order. Lets bring it back to the three fingers, it is more likely that Shabriri is a merchant if the three fingers were manifested from the merchants isolation/punishment/all other heinous acts being committed to everybody in the lands between. Shabriri is just the translator just as we see Enia at the roundtable hold, except it seems Shabriri was given the ability to possess bodies like Yura. If he was able to possess bodies willingly, by the way, and Shabriri is the Frenzied Flame outer God, why does he not possess us once we inherit the flame? I believe it is because, like you said, Yura agreed to it, and Shabriri only possesses those who want to.
As for Shabriri himself, he is the advocate for the people suffering. He knows what it is like to be at literal rock bottom of suffering with nowhere to go, of course he will advocate for the burning of the world. I think of Melina warning us of good reasons not to inherit the flame, if there is bad, there can still be good. The Frenzied Flame takes the stance that the lands between are too far gone and need to be restarted. Whether or not that is true, is up for debate. I think it is very polarizing the way Fromsoft gives us many choices by showing us the world and tell us we are the ones who get to decide. We can choose many endings, but the one to truly stand out to most is the frenzied flame due to how polarizing it is to all the others. Heck, even the blessing of despair is at least giving birth/life, albeit not in a good way. But, to have an ending that says enough is enough is truly the kind of ending that sticks up to the small suffering minority, or majority if you consider the state of everything. It is accepting that we are not able to fix the current world, but that is alright. All flames eventually die off, the lands between would be more like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

If you want to call Shabriri a victim, well that's maybe arguable, but he's evil nontheless. It's not even really a debate, he obviously perfomrs evil deeds.

If YT doesn't like it, well, they can suck a egg, lol! Now, on to the topic. I KNEW it! Shabriri, the Frenzied Flame, everything about it, is FAR more complex than other people realize! Remember my theory, on how and why there was a Shadow Mohg, AND, a special, very powerful seal, made by Morgott, that you had to break to get down there at all, and what remained of Mohg's forces was still there in Linuria AND Limgrave, not to mention Varre at BOTH locations, is to recruit powerful people into the Mohgwyn Dynasty, in case there EVER was a Lord of Chaos, and the Frenzied Flame was fully unleashed upon the Lands Between! Both Mohg and Morgott knew or at least sensed a dire threat far beneath Leyndell, while growing up in the Shunning Grounds! Just them being who they were, probably made them the two most powerful Omen to ever exist! IF to one day have to possibly combat the Frenzied Flame, Morgott was empowered by the Greater Will, and enter the Formless Mother for Mohg! I also theorized why a Godskin Apostle was guarding the Godslayer's Greatsword at the bottom of RADAHN'S Tower, for if you get the Frenzied Flame ending, the Gloam-Eyed Queen returns, probably as a last resort of the Greater Will, or whichever Outer God for the Black Flame! Maybe Radahn knew about it, his dad was Radagon! Maybe that's why that sword was at the bottom of his Tower! So not just ANYONE could get it! Like I said before, the Gloam-Eyed Queen would need time to get her forces together, hence, Mohg's forces that's already in Linuria, Limgrave, and Leyndell, would be at least SOMETHING, untill she's ready! Not even the Formless Mother wanted existance to get destroyed, so, she empowered the most powerful Omen, other than Morgott, Mohg! Your theories, I think, just made mine, a little more credible! Still insane, but, at least another point! I really hope you feel better soon, and have a good Holiday! You really like my bat-s%#@ theories, so, I put them here! These "analysis" videos are so bad and all over the place. Shabriri is, in fact, pretty evil , but that's subjective. And he just need CHAOS. That's what feeds the frenzied flame; people falling into desperation and feeding that flame. And it's the opposite of ORDER. A lot of room to improve your powers of observation though.
100% he's the ultimate human evil, complete and utter nihilism. He's willing to manipulate events to subject the entire merchant caravan to a horrific fate.

The Order is Evil. The Frenzied flame is indifferent; rid the world of all that divides and distinguishes.
