Once I saw them live back in like 2010 or 2011 and got to James for like 20 minutes before the show. I talked to him a lot about vocals, and he screamed in the venue to demonstrate and it was so loud that everyone in the entire place whipped their heads around to find the source of the noise. He is by far the loudest vocalist I've ever heard. I'm confident that he doesn't need a mic live. Cool fucking dude too.
My god those lows are hella deep and unique.
