Solid post, good music choice well matched to walking tempo. Cute “breastplate” in cobblestone - hadn’t seen that before.😁 By shooting RAW I have flexibility to edit for color, monochrome, or selective color - without locking myself in at the start. Texture and patterns, gritty street scenes said to benefit from B&W, but in most shoots, you really don’t know up front. Picking one or the other is one way some folks mimic the film experience - takes disipline. BTW, interesting to see Covid-19 precaution reminders in Amsterdam.

For me if a scene has something that you can tell is a modern element it stays in colour

Could you do an in-depth video solely on snap focus/full press snap etc? I’m really struggling with this. It’s the GR’s secret weapon and I can’t use it. Thank you.

Yeah, I use Lightroom for my B&W editing. I use the curve adjustments and split toning to find the right edit! 🙏
