Nice race! I'm not in the habit of looking at the pedal cam in your videos but when I remembered it was nice to see the pedal control.
The old Porsche magic is back! An excellent race not just on its own merit, but ideal practice for Long Beach.

What a race! Belle Isle is only about 25 minutes from my home. Just up the river a few miles. If you ever find yourself in Michigan, I'll take you there. And maybe I can arrange a tour of the mustang factory. Keep the pedal cam.

one thing I've noticed watching a lot of sim racing videos, even if you start last as long as you run a clean race theres a good chance you won't finish last.

Great video Dave. Lovely drive. As far as the footcam goes. If you hadn’t of mentioned it, I wouldn’t have noticed. I find the telemetry much more appealing to look at. Don’t think the cam adds anything on top of that really. 👍🏼

I love Belle Isle but it doesn't love me unfortunately.
The league race was there on Monday and I died lap4 T4 but that's how it goes sometimes.
I'm easy either way on the pedal cam.

Would be really awesome if you can do a video on your camera set ups software that you use to record in and how you split both Cameras cause I use obs and can’t split my Logitech stream cams.

I like the Forte better than my Pro although I guess the Forte is a competitor to the Sport 👍

I'm just starting out with sim racing and as a disabled guy, I'm not sure how it'll go, but my fanatec stuff is here just waiting on my trak racer rig to come next weekend. Do you know, if I'm based in the USA, is there any possibility of seeing European folks in races on iracing?

I'm really looking for a GT3 car to drive. I'm really wondering if I should go for the Porsche or the Lambo

So wasnt the new tire model thing a big deal for having to change tires during pitstops? Is there still no need for tire changes?
Not for a 45 min race, especially when you have a steady first half like I did 👍

I find this ntm to be weird. It was such a big talk about having to change tires and no possibility of double stinting etc. But do one lose time with changing all 4 in a stop and fuel on imsa?
You can now change tyres at the same time as fuelling so if you are taking full tanks you can complete it without losing times, but unless you are racing for over an hour, you shouldn’t need tyres. Watkins Glen seems to be an exception. That track chewed tyres in the ESS race.

Looks similar to Sebring, lots of cement and bumpy.
Not really an overcut I think. U couldn’t have made 6s in the pits. He made a mistake for sure. Nevertheless great stuff. Well done!
I made up 2 positions in the pits and saved around 0.2 per lap until that point. Definitely an overcut 😁

Pedal cam is not worth the effort of compiling into the video, IMO. Dave Cam OTOH, much more worth it.
