People say she can't sing because she doesn't have a huge Beyoncé or Whitney Houston type voice. Everyone doesn't have a voice like that. She has a nice soft voice and its mellow. She has really nice music. People should build her instead of hating.

Okay, people call her "beautiful" because she is, being beautiful is not just about looks. Her demeanor, how smart she is, the way she dresses, how her voice is soothing and her lyrics are meaningful, you can feel every lyrics she sings, etc so for all of you who is saying she's not as pretty/ or what is all the hype about it's not just the face she's also confident, and she knows who she is and her worth and for all of you who wanna play the "she's a hoe card" she's a grown woman who has made mistakes that's anyone.. She's beautiful on the inside and out, and for all of you who is saying she can't sing or her voice is too soft, we love her because her voice is just soothing and her lyrics catches you.. If you're someone who listens to ratchet, club banging, twerking, hood music and are about not catching feelings, then Jhené's music wouldn't interest you. Don't TRY to shut someone down just because they're not what you're used too. If you don't dig her vibe then move on... You can't listen to hood boogers on a daily basis but then want to talk about what real music is and isn't. There are a bunch of different typed of genres and artists and no one likes all of them. There's something for everyone. Jhené is all about love, expression and teaching and if you're not willing to be open minded then why are you so angry about who she is and what she does? Most of you listen to people who talk about things they don't have or listen to people who are only interesting in making money from it and looking for fame.. She writes from her heart and life experiences and she's sharing. I cannot seem to understand why it makes some of you so angry.

All the sudden people are all freaking out over here, loved her since Sailing Souls in 2010. Shit doesn't have to be played on the radio first in order for it to be deemed good music people.
And her voice is pretty good live, nothing that knocks you off her feet, but a good voice. It's her passion, emotion, and the fact that what she's saying feels like its directed right at you. Drake and Aiko both are complete counter parts of eachother, 1 male, 1 female, both have the exact same shining spots as the other. Good lyrics, emotion, always bring something new, nothing crazy in the vocals, but thats not why you're listening to these types of artists.
