Been a yachty fan forever and I never underestimated his creativity, but I'll admit that I did not expect him to execute this well. This is a truly cohesive, truly special album unlike any of his others, even the ones I love.

I highly doubt another album this year will top this for me. It’s so unique, fun, replayable and refreshing. Yachty did something amazing here.

Honestly I’ve been listening to yachts since 2016 but this album was trash, completely trash. Anyone comparing this Pink Floyd must have never listened to Pink Floyd
@@henryslatt9041 I think we are also just very impressed that he did something so different and it’s at least a decent listen. For comparison I listened to Dark Side of the Moon and I was underwhelmed after reading how amazing it was supposed to be.

man I love this album so much. Always liked Yachty since I first heard the Lil Boat tape in 2016, but he just became one of my all time favorites with this one. Really hope he make more albums like this.
Been a fan of yachty since 2017 and its not like some other rappers tht I listen to them and eventually I dont bc the feeling is just not there anymore, but with yachty I dont think I will ever get tired he always amazes me like the first time I heard him.

Easily Album of the year for me. I never had any respect for Yachty as a musician, but just 180'd my whole outloook on him. I had Let's Start Here on repeat. Amazing album.

kinda dope yachty has millions of fans loving his work, and yet at the end of the day the approval of his parents still shines through as the most impactful appreciation, also side note: i had no expectations going into this album, and i immediately got 70s roger water vibes from that intro, love it

My whole first experience with lil yachty was about 2 weeks ago - Poland randomly came on in a playlist, i thought it was neat but ultimatly kind of a joke. Couple of days later i'm seeing music channels saying that the same lil yachty made a psych rock album - i couldnt quite marry the idea of this joke song about taking the wock to poland with something akin to Tame Impala, this had to be investigated.
57 minutes of bliss later, and you have my full attention and my respect Yachty. This is a beautiful album, and i cannot wait to hear/see where he goes next.
I am so excited for yachtys future bro. I really wanna see what he does with this newfound style

Not gonna lie, I was a Yachty back in the early days of his career. But the more I hear him talk the more I like him, like music aside. And all the press he's been doing leading up to this album has really impressed me. I think the album is ambitious and powerful and that is something I never expected to hear from Yachty. I think he has separated himself from his peers with this album.

I am far from and his target demographic and I find this new album astonishing.
Good for him for going in a different direction. Although I like his trap music, I feel like a career going that route won't last forever.

yeah this album is crazy. ice always known dude had it in him, but to make something this creative out the blue is wild. not a perfect execution by any means (imo) but its a very good LP. i give it a solid 8/10.
Zane Lowe is such a beautiful soul. Love the album Boat!
He did a great job with the album because you can feel that it wasn't forced and it was a legit experimental body of art with no expectations tied to it. & I didnt even listen to the album completely just because this isn't the Yachty sound i particularly wanted to hear.. but as a fan of his for so long im happy that its receiving so much love from not just his fans but the industry as well. I personally cant wait for his next rap album.

Just to spell it out to you... Yachty isn't doing anything different. In fact his vocals are the weak point of the album for me, while instrumentals seem to be written by other people. So reading this album is like Pink Floyd's music "reincarnated and modernized" just leaves the same bad taste in my mouth as hearing Greta Van Fleet.

I'll admit i didnt exactly like this new generation of rappers at first, even though they are all talented. But I've gained a new interest in this music due to its genre bending and the meshing of rock and rap. Its more rap than rock whereas groups like linkin park were more rock than rap and i think thats what makes it so unique and just good. Really love this style and i think juice wrld was one of the best at it 🙏
