You should check AndyRCs channel, he goes over how to fully set-up the transmitter with all the switches etc
+Parallel Realities I had a chance to play with it and figure it out yesterday and plan on making a dedicated video just to get people started. The way they did it is wacky. I did watch Andy's video too. He does a great job, I'm curious to see what people reaction will be to putting EVERYTHING into a single 45 minute video will be.

You can turn on to 10 channels from 6 channels, it was on the bottom of the menu. So you can have your buzzer etc.

Look through the hole fwd of the fwd most strap, if you tighten the strap you will see the board and the settings. Then you can make a small hole in your strap using a hot soldering iron (to seal it) and then you can look at the read out on the board while you poke it with something like a toothpick, that's the best idea I have for not being able to change freq's without removing the top plate. I am yet to do this but plan to, it makes sense to me anyway...
btw the origial wizard vtx has dip switches that are accessible from the rear but they are heat shrunk over so you have to cut a little to access them

+Jesus Ortiz because this is he second generation of the drone I expect it to be better than the Lizard out of the box. It depends on what you are looking for though. The Lizard is small and fast.

When you say the sd card slot is for the black box, what does that mean? Can you not plug it in and get the footage from the FPV camera? If not, how do you get the FPV cam footage? Sorry, I’m new to FPV drone racers
So how did that thin top plate work out? The antenna mount? That top plate looks very fragile like just about anything could break it. Doesn't look like a whole lot of clearance between props and main body. Wonder how it held up over 3 years... :-/
I got to fly it yesterday. It is really great. But, the audio is terrible because of the wind. And the DVR cut out. About the only thing that is good is the Gopro footage. I'm going to redo it, but do you think it is worth posting what I have?

Hello. I'm really excited about my x220s...I've had it for 3days now n Haven't even opened box. I'm afraid to screw something up in beta flight I never had to do ANYTHING like beta flight...please please PLEASE HP ME FIGURE TJIS ALL OUT!
just got my wizard 220s and it wont connect to bataflight, it keeps saying failed to open serial ports and i already downloaded the drivers but cant figure out the flashing

Hey Champ! Great Vid! Thanks! I could now use some help because I have to install my own FS-X6B Rx... why does the lead from the FC have a four pin connector that uses only three wires?! My X6B takes three! what a PITA? Btw, the X6B has 3x three-pin connections; one says PPM... not that one, I know, but which of the BUS connections do I use? iBus or Bus with my Evolution? Thanks!
+John Graboski from their 4 wires just remove the TX wire from the FC. You will have to solder on a 3 wire jst sh 5v and ground are easy. Wire the other wire on your Receiver to the RX wire on the FC. I wire up something similar I think in this video. czcams.com/video/R-kpQgPd0-8/video.html as for Ibus vs Sbus I recommend you check out the video Bruce at +RCModelReviews just posted. He got a bad FC in his and does a good job showing how he changed his from sBus to IBus to get it working.

there's a firmware mod for the flysky fs-i6 to enable 10 channel mode, i'm guessing it will work for that irangex too. will allow you to have all switches and knobs enabled at the same time
+heretic30176 yep. I kind of hoped it would have been done in the kit. But that is one reason I was excited about this kit.
DroneRacer101 You don't need a mod for the iRange you just need to enable the channels in the settings... I did a video on it a while back if you want to check it out
I had a hobby shop replace a esc and now they tell me the radio will not talk to the drone it did when I took it in what the he'll can you tell me
+Byron Rittmaier they replaced one of the ESCs on the 4in1? That can be done but is unusual. Maybe the RX just came disconnected. Or something shorted and something fried.
Hi from the netherlands. Nice video man. I also received the quad and have a problem. My transmitter is not responding in betaflight or to the drone. When I set it on the red led on the receiver stops blinking. So that's good. What am I missing here? Maybe you have some pointers? Or somebody else ofcourse :)

Yes I did. It's set to uart 6 en also Sbus ofcourse. Strange thing is that it takes up to 10 or 15 times before my receiver is connected to the fc and gets inputs. What could that be?

and it worked for me

I'm debating wether I should build a quad or buy one and if I buy one I may get this. Should I buy or build? And if I buy which one should I get? (I'm interested in a racing quad but I won't be competing) Any advice for me?
+Ryan Schumaker It depends on how much time you want to spend before you are in the air. It used to be a no brainer, build is better than buy. But with models like the Wizard X220S now available things have changed. I like the fact that you can get it, fly it and then when something does go wrong you can learn about the component that needs fixed. You don't have to learn everything all at once. People say you won't know how to fix it but I think if you still with something using common components, or that will be very common, or both, like this Wizard and there will be tons of information on anything you ever want to do. If you want to build, build. But don't let people pressure you into having to do it. Just expect that you will have to work on anything you to buy.

Ryan Schumaker bottom line is you won't get good for that money , unless it's a micro. The wizard is a lot of quad for little money, but the camera is ropey, the frame snaps easily (in the middle) and while the motors put out good thrust, they're seemingly having a lot of issues with magnets coming off, and bad bearings - something that wasn't the case with the old 2205s. I won't say dont buy this, but for a bit more money there are better options. Crusader gt2 or gt2s, tyrant s etc. I've sold a lot of quads and many people have had previous problems with their wizards, and this will be the same. This is the old one with knobs on. If you fancy building one, then banggood do some good kits, and this reviewer will still get paid if you buy one after you've clicked his link :)
Coppertop FPV Thankyou! I checked out one of UAVfutures videos on how to build a $99 quad and I am primarily following that (with a few different parts) I decided that if you buy you can really get the best of all components, but if you build one you can get the best of everything. I have the Bugs 6 right now and I'm planning to upgrade to a better quad I built myself. I'm probably gonna get the flysky I6 radio to go with that

Neither the X220 or X220s come with any real instructions. The X220s has like a brochure that has zero helpful set-up info and when i emailed Bunggood the info was also pretty much useless. Due to the fact that this is my first quad and having no idea what the first thing about setting them up i got very pissed off and discouraged to say the least. If i were to do it again i would pay extra cash to be able to have decent product support from the manufacturer because to me Bunggood has jack shit. Thanks to DroneRacer101 for an easy to follow directorial video.
Ok so RTF doesn't actually mean READY to fly. You still have to do some setup and stuff then.
AQHackAQ this was a LONG time ago. I would bet the setup is cleaner now.

Could be a number of things. I would start by checking the modes tab in Betaflight to make sure the buzzer isn’t on a switch you don’t have mapped so it is basically set to go off all the time.
