One Final Effort from Halo 3, Warthog Run being an extended version of that same track, has got to be one of the most iconic and epic tracks in videogame history. Not gonna lie, this one was a true challenge. Relentless opposing rhythms and several layered piano voices required some creative solutions to stay true to the original sound while keeping it playable by a human.

I've been playing through the entire series so far with my brother to get ready for Infinite. He had only ever played the first one the whole way through, right after it came out. We just finished 3 a couple of days ago. Thinking back to high school when 3 came out, the way me and my best two buds would stay up until ungodly hours just goofing off... Slamming through the campaign, beating our heads against Legendary... Screwing around in forge... Playing Firefight in ODST. This song will always carry an impossible amount of memories for me.

I remember playing reach for this first time and that made me tear up a bit. Having read the books, I knew reach would fall. But with that one line 6 seals his fate to reach, and it hits like a freight train with the weight of knowing he will die no matter the effort he put out So that others would finish the fight. To this day Reach is still my favorite game and that level being one of my favorite in the series

That's his way of saying that there's no way chief died
He was saying we're it so easy to believe that someone like the chief is dead. As time and time again he defies death.
This quote brings emphasis to the wisdom the Sangheli were capable of. They may have been foolish to believe the prophets...but aren't we all fools?
As you hear this, your brain instantly brings you to the moment you fought those two Scarabs in the mission *The Covenant* back in Halo 3
For me it's mostly the opening cutscene of that mission, but that's another one I think of when I hear this!

Chief really did just wake up and end the war Single handedly in a few weeks.

I hope this as remembered as one of the greatest compositions of all time. Even for someone who hasn’t played halo, it’s impossible to ignore the masterpiece that is this song. Halo will forever have the greatest soundtrack of any piece of entertainment ever.

My grandfather was a piano player, I regret not listening to him play when I was younger. Hearing this makes me wonder what he'd think of what modern pianists are creating. Thank you for doing your part to show that a good old piano still has a place in modern music, and please never stop.
What are the chances, I found your channel just yesterday and went looking for this exact track. It wasn't there and then today it just so happens that you post exactly what I was looking for and it comes up in my recommended feed of all places. I'm normally someone who feels emotion from a single piano note.
So this... THIS is something that made me feel far to many emotions as an piano player and now piano appreciator, and an OG Halo fan this left me astounded and full of nostalgia, amongst other feelings and emotions
