On my first playthrough and going to the Hidden Ones DLC, it hit me with how natural the game progression was. I felt like a fighter who gradually became an assassin as I leveled up, and events led to the forming of the brotherhood.

Yeah man, I heard The Hidden Ones DLC is really good, I am actually considering getting it and playing through it 😅😁

@domsdiary_ wait for a sale. The season pass goes on sale quite often. It's definitely worth it. It has the best fortress to clear. Also, help the NPC who is looking for a female friend. Don't skip it.

Thanks, I brainstormed some ideas for that introduction so I'm glad people love it 😁 And yes, Bayek really goes through a development and thats why he is one of my favorite AC protagonists 😁

Really loved this game. its kinda shameful that they took it to the top on Odyssey, wish we werent a demi god but an actual Early assassin. Valhalla (which im still enjoying now because that game is fucking huge) i enjoyed, just wish it wasn't a viking sim, but wishing for a balance that origins had. Hopefully shadows is good, especially main missions, im hoping its like syndicate where its required to play as one character or hell even both.

Yeah, same here, wish we got a sequel or hell, a trilogy with Bayek, feel like it would work so well. Cant say anything about Odyssey or Valhalla since I am yet to play them but I am excited 😁

I was very much disappointed in the story. I remember it starting off very strong in the beginning and it hooked me, but as an actual "origin" of our iconic assassins and their "creed" from the previous era of games, I was so let down. I also hated the new direction the gameplay went. Not a fan of the looting or "rpg" style for assassin's creed. The combat was too goofy and flashy for me too. The world was beautiful though, they always are in these games.

Yeah I agree with your points man, the story started off great and I wish we got a sequel or a trilogy to further see the origins of the Creed. For me the combat was okayish but I do agree the looting aspect did take away the joy a lil. Also forgot to mention level capping areas so you have to grind just to proceed further 😕

hi just got to watch your vid and i have a few things i would like to say. first of all it was very fast and indiffrently spoken, but i think that get's better with practice and then there were multible repetitions.
also it would have been good if you would have drawns some comparisons to the changes of older games in the series to this new era of rpg Assassins creeds aswell as some games that used mechanics already like farcry primals use of the owl being the eagle vision here.
but i guess you wanted to keep the video short.
a few examples of sentences that carried the same message
1:46 Along the way he forms unlikely aliances with fellow rebels, outcasts and freedom fighters all united in their desire to rid egypt of tyranny
1:12 Throughout his quest, bayek encounters individuals who share his vision of a free and just society, laying the foundation for what will become the brothergood
also these all kinda allude to the same things.
1:50 as baykes journey unfolds, players wittnes the intricate web of political intrigue and power struggles that define the era.
2:22 Amidst the chaos of war and the powerfull figures like cleopatra and julius ceasar, bayek questions with duty honor and sacrifice
2:44 The historical period depicted in assasins creed Origins is characterized by the clash of civilizations as egyptian traditions collide with Greek and roman influences.
i guess you could see it as a kaleidoscope given that the part of 1:50 hints at 2:22 which then gets widened by 2:44.
overall a solid video. it did give a brief overview of the game which was your goal i also liked your editing a lot esspecially the cutscene from the game fit really well also that you showed the relevant parts as you spoke about them was a good visual aid.

Thank you for the feedback! And yes, I do lose myself in the script sometimes so I end up saying the same things sometimes, still working on that 😅 But I am glad you enjoyed the video, and thanks again for the feedback! 😁

While I liked AC Origins. I cannot say the same for Odyssey and Valhalla as they are both just lazy glorified DLCs to Origins. Odyssey is Origins perfected, but Valhalla is just down right blatant copy paste. If AC Shadow goes the same route I'd rather stick to Ghost of Tsushima or Rise of the Ronin.

Yeahhh I really liked the story of Bayek in Origins and that alone is cool to me, though I cant say anything for Odyssey and Valhalla since I am yet to play them. But yes, I am excited for Shadows but I am also really cautious and skeptical, since you never know with Ubisoft 😔

Everyone got their own opinion 🤷‍♂️ For some it changed the series, for some it ruined it and I can see that it ruined the series for you, fair opinion, I cant change it. For me it was just alright, combat was okay and big world with little activites as I said in the video. The only thing that I *really* liked about this game is the story of Bayek, but thats about it, thats just my opinion. And again, your opinion may vary 🤷‍♂️
