Another great rogue-like (or maybe closer to a rouge-lite) game is Risk of Rain 2, it's a game with items that are randomly obtained from chests and at the 5th stage, you can either move on to the final boss of the game or play another 5 levels, thus creating the infinite replayability. The game also has artifacts which you can get by finding the artifact portal and entering a code (you can find them online). The artifacts I use are Commando which lets you choose the item you want and Sacrifice where enemies drop items when they're killed. The game is pretty enjoyable in singleplayer but it truly shines when you play it online with up to 4 people.

Was so shocked to see gameplay of Flinthook on here, thought I was the only one who actually ever played that game, but it's def underrated!

Oh my god, my heart breaks that such a well-made video has mere 200 views

I'm a huge fan of Rouge-likes, there's so many great ones out there. I love Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, I've barely gotten anywhere in the game though because strategizing on the fly is super difficult. Though I personally prefer games like Death Road to Canada and Enter the Gungeon, since those are easier to get a grasp of, plus they offer a lot more variety in content and events. I got The Binding of Isaac Rebirth a few months ago and I've been meaning to try that out because I hear it's one of the best in the genre. That and Risk of Rain 2
