I have been playing the gamecube one with my 5 yesr old daughter, we already beat 64 and we are at the moon at the moment, after we are moving on the the wii!
I love Toad... the main toad, as he is my favorite mario character and one to play as in mario kart and mario party. I loved playing as blue toad in mario 3d world, mario wonder, and mario bros wii and u. I love captain toad and the toad brigade as well. I didn't mind them in paper mario series at all since I love toads so much but I still agree with King Olly on his motivations: THERES TOO MANY!!!!! and honestly go off for him for wanting to end toad overpopulation. I gotta hand it to super paper mario though. There was only one toad in that game... and aside from mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and his minions.... every other character was an original character and had a unique design
@@thegreenthunder2 I mean, I wouldn’t be as bothered by toad population if the toads had unique designs like they did in TTYD, PM64, and the Mario & Luigi series
@@joeygoat06 yeah!! Regular toads wearing a different outfit does not count as an original character as far as the later paper mario ones go. At least the earlier ones had different designs, sizes, and colors. though I do count pr9fessor toad from origami king as an exception to the later games because he actually has a distinct personality and is a useful Ally to Mario in Chapter 3 of that game.
@@joeygoat06 of course! Who could forget Jolene's role in Chapter 3? I'm talking about the later games. Just being a different color or wearing a different vest doesn't make them a substitute for original species....
Fun fact the enemies will laugh at Mario and his partners if you don't guard at the right time or you didn't punish your bad audience when they throw rocks, hammers etc
it pops up on yoshi to signify that the move he got hit by should make him dizzy. Then, if the icon is absorbed, it means the status was applied successfully, while if the icon falls down, it means it failed and had no effect.
Wow nintendo changed the status effects are the picture instead of the splash, for example, the Flying Buzzy Beetle, instead of the cyan splash effect, they added the image of it. I don't know if a good change of it or a bad one.
Part of the reason why I LOVE Paper Mario TTYD is because of the Random Stage hazards/affects. It's so funny!
I miss the little screams the audience would make when you hit them. Like the girlish "Ahhh !" scream
those were so hilarious as a kid
Yessss! I'm so happy all the interactions are still here!
This game is a masterpiece
Dude the fog was SUPER annoying

I’m glad that hooktail only eats the toads, i’ve gotten a bit tired of them

@@thegreenthunder2 I mean, kinda depends. Jolene is a toad with a different outfit, though it’s a drastically different outfit which makes her unique

Wait, why did a dizzy dial pop up and jump away from the yoshi?
I think it's to show that he's dizzy now. Not an actual item but an effect to show its similar to the item.

I'd say good; more readable that way.
Witnessing Hooktail eat the toads was a trip.
It looks mid...
