Max is the best all round tool. Add TyFlow and Phoenix, very hard to compete.
Zbrush is my favorite software, I first learned modeling on maya, but zbrush takes your imagination to a whole new level ❤️

it is possible that it is because the low poly and the high poly one are overlapping?, Cuz I saw that it was overlapping before you do the baking tho.. there is a couple actually 1:49:57

Blender without plugins is still S tier, these generator are just presets made using blender geo nodes, so technically still using blender
there are lot of plugins that have their own coding and things, so yeah i agree a lot of them use the base stuff but a lot of others create on top of it

I wanted to ask something about the "trending page screenshot" exercise you talked about, would that tip apply to beginners as well? Im still in school, going to graduate in 1 year and I dont know if in a year my work quality will improve so much that I can compete with the trending page full of people with close to or even more than a decade of experience. Is this a skill issue or would recruiters be more lenient on junior level?
I would say that exercise is good to use when you are about to graduate or just graduate. The trending page is a good thermometer for Jr roles and entry level positions I would say , or at least that should be your goal to start with

Honestly I haven't tried it myself because of the additional cost but I might test it soon and maybe we can update the list
Cinema4D B tier? what? How can it be lower than Blender?... The only thing blender does better than Cinema is sculpture, everything else you can do better and easier in C4D than in blender (They even released a much better version of geoNodes, that have access to almost every single thing in cinema, unlike the super limited geoNodes.)... it could only be A tier because of the price, but only if you put the autodesk programs in there as well...
