I agree. They should have updated Cortana, and they would have made it amazing. But it is not the first time they decided that they should rebrand instead of an update.

LOL What is REALLY important is will Copilot diagnose and fix all the little "bugs" that happen when using Microsoft products....instead of forcing us to go to "help" function which just triggers a bunch of questions that never really helps us.

Clearly, they killed Cortana as their AI/copilot-everywhere concept came together. I like it. I like the copilot branding. People can understand that a copilot will "always be there, ready to help whenever..."

Do we know if Copilot will be able to assist with admin tasks? For example if I wanted to create a retention policy? Or a configuration profile through Intune?
Reach out to your Microsoft Account manager or the third-party vendor that helped you launch 365 in your enterprise. I would no but perhaps in future builds probably.

The Cocreator option in the new Paint tool is no longer there just FYI, at this moment. I have win 11 x64 23H2 Build 22631.3007.
So it writes your emails, holds your hand while doing excel, suggests powerpoint templates, suggests stock photography, lets you edit photos not using photoshop (who would do that, children?). To summarize: it’s a tool that you type into and it spits words back out, how that helps you is up to you.

I have serious concerns about privacy of Copilot. Users are giving it tooooooo much data.
Does copilot have access to all my files in my local drive?
Can it read my personal emails, chats and documents to give answers?
What about confidencial information, does microsoft read the confidencial documents that are used in Copilot?
I don't want an AI snooping in my private photos and videos that I have never upload to cloud.
The whole mechanism of AI is sifting through and mining extensive data for insights. You can't use artificial intelligence and expect privacy. Opt for chatgpt instead where you can still use VPNs.

I am not anti-tech, far from it, but where are we heading where all we do is talk, type, or sketch, and the computer does everything else? What about all the people who want to be creative, and productive/employed? Are we going to become like the people in that movie Idiocracy, which strangely is looking more and more not like a fiction comedy, but a non-fiction thriller.

“File explorer is getting an update too…” Oh no. “It’s got a neat clean look…” dear god no. “Modern, easy to use….” Facepalm. I’m all for the new AI stuff, but the progressive crippling of core features of an operating system should not be celebrated. Win 11 already trashed the usefulness of file explorer under the guise of ‘modernising’, I shudder to think what they’ve done to it now :(
Not to mention the creepy spying. Microsoft is now malware.
I was disgusted by win 11 file explorer and went back to win 10 just for that reason

Most of the Video Effects are stock footage and Templates for Premiere Pro or Davinci Resolve. Voice with Elevenlabs probably and everything else with the editing are the skills of their Editor or someone
I wish people would stop using this particular voice. It's so harsh. The guy sounds almost angry.

As a senior business systems analyst at a multi-national software company, I was not too lazy to learn how to use a keyboard and mouse, and have enough of my own intelligence to formulate searches on Google to find information I need, or learn where commands are in the menus of software I use.

When performing an integration make certain to alert the end-user via email that Microsoft has performed the integration. This new logo was pinned to my taskbar this morning and I thought the computer was hacked in some manner. I lost VALUABLE work time figuring out what happened. Not happy.

Those of us who suffered Microsoft initial attempt at taking over our initial Win 7 and 10 Computers. We all fraught them and finally got our computers back to where they were and out favorite Browser as well. Now I fear another attempt at taking over again. Most of us from that era as well. This is what I fear about Microsoft with AI; taking away our choices again. I already made Google my default browser and that is how I choose to keep it. So stop messing with me and forcing me to change browsers. I have free will as a HUMAN and I want to stay with Google.

Google Handwriting tool is much better than Windows Handwriting tool... Windows Handwriting tool does not work properly, when you type in other languages, you cannot understand handwriting properly no matter how well you write... Hindi. Like in other languages, there is still a lot of problem in writing its handwriting… once it needs to update Windows properly… along with Hindi language, there should also be an English suggestion so that sometime in between we can write English words. Can also write to. Google's handwriting tool works very well, but Windows should also work in the same way... Tab should also appear along with Enter in the typing tool or there should also be a sketch of Tab... so that on software like Excel, TAB and Can work quickly with Enter.
