- A tour of the battlefield of Naseby, fought on 14th June 1645; the battle that turned the tide of the English Civil War. The main Royalist field army was defeated in detail, its veteran foot killed or captured. It was the first major test of parliament's New Model Army.
Very Interesting tour of battle of Naseby.👍
This is experiencing history at another level. Your deep understanding of the battlefield and insights I would not have otherwise experienced is pure joy and thrill. Thanks and hope you get to do many more
Excellent, Andy. I look forward to your next video.
Excellent tour very informative
Thank you ever so much for explaining the battle field in detail. I live in market Harborough and spend quite allot of time trying to figure out where the battle actually was.
Thanks for that. We were doing a walk that took in Sibertoft on the 16th June, and walked in some of these fields, but not up as far as the Cromwell Memorial, which we`ve visited previously on a Naseby walk. The explanation was excellent and I understand more of what went on. Many thanks.
Thank you so much. This is a great video and I now have a very clear understanding of the battle
Great explanation of the battlefield layout
An excellent tour and description: concise, greatly informative and totally fascinating... Very well done, Andy.
Can't wait for your next one - St Albans & Barnet, to complete the WOTR set, perhaps?
A great tour and explanation.
It's 1080p on my end
Quality as always Andy
Great and informative video. Really enjoyed that one.
Very interesting & well made, many thanks! 👍
Another great video.
Very good video and explanation on site of this famous battle. I live not to far away and have recently visited the area to view from the different points in relation to the battle. All the best.👍
Great video and very informative...I've visited the cromwell monument a couple of times but never walked the battlefield. What happened to all the casualties...where they buried where they fell or in local churchyards?
