- A short exploration of the Battlefield of Blore Heath. I'd never been here before and there is very little overt marking of the field, so I had to do some walking around to get oriented. Just as well because it was a freezing cold morning. I was surprised at how deep and wide the ravine was that crosses the field. Before visiting I had imagined it would have been just a small stream. I can only assume that the Yorkist dummy-retreat was significant and convincing, because I find it hard to understand why the Lancastrians would give up their advantage and attack across such difficult ground. Anyway, I had a good look around and I think I have the measure of the field now.
Great video
Great presentation good work very informative
It's been a while since this channel showed up on my feed. Glad to see you out in the field again.
Thanks for bringing us here 👍🏽.
Really good videos, I'm catch up with all of them. Great work, thank you.
Again a fine and interesting video.

Three feet of snow on the ground in Saskatchewan & green fields in Blighty! I can hardly wait to be in England again! Thanks for the tour! Cheers Warren, 1812 Channel!
Always interesting and a pleasure to watch. Thank you. Love and peace. Tim
Thanks for another great tour. Just ordered Bloody Meadow, can't wait to read it. Cheers ;)
Great video. Really enjoyed that. Not sure why the Lancastrians would have left their favorable position. Pleasant countryside, even with the main road there.
Very well done.
I'll look for your book online.
