Founders Plaza at DFW Airport - Ep. 82

This is my first visit to the new location of Founders Plaza. Prior to 9/11, we would visit the old location often. It is an excellent way to kill some time.

Thanks for featuring Founders Plaza. I remember in 1978 going out to DFW Airport at night with my wife and parking directly under the landing lights at the end of the runway to watch the planes land. We did this year's before Wayne's World did it.

Prior to 9/11, a friend of mine and I parked at the end of the runway at night near the old Founders Plaza. The landing lights from the plane were so bright, we couldn’t see our hands in front of our faces.

@@GettingOutInLife Sounds like the same location we went to. Also when the airport was under construction, I was able to ride my motorcycle on the runway. No one ever stopped me. I only did it once though.
