Welcome to our DIY Diamond Painting video! In this video, we'll guide you through the process of prepping your diamond painting canvas for shipping with care and precision.
First, we start by applying artist tape around the edges of the completed diamond painting image. This step ensures that no adhesive seeps onto the surrounding area, keeping your masterpiece clean and pristine.
Next, we carefully apply adhesive to the canvas, making sure to cover the entire surface evenly. The adhesive is crucial for securing the diamond drills in place.
Once the adhesive is applied, we delicately remove the artist tape, revealing crisp and clean edges around the image. This step requires patience and precision to avoid any damage to the painting.
To protect the surface of the diamond painting, we gently place a sheet of protective parchment paper over it. This additional layer safeguards the artwork from dust, scratches, and any other potential damage during shipping.
Afterwards, we carefully roll up the canvas, taking care not to crease or fold the painting. Rolling it ensures compact packaging and minimizes the risk of any damage during transit.
Finally, we pack the rolled canvas securely in a suitable shipping container, ensuring that it is well-padded and protected for its journey to its new home.
With these simple steps, your diamond painting is now prepped and packed, ready to be shipped to its destination. Happy crafting! Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more DIY tutorials and creative inspiration.

@@AHomespunHobby I think that’s a good idea! Most diamond painters have a basic understanding of the process, nut to see it would be a very good thing.

    Thanks for showing your process
I’ve used parchment paper before and unless you’re going to diamond paint the image within a couple weeks it sticks to the image and tears while you’re trying to peel it back so I stopped using it I leave the plastic as it’s the only thing that doesn’t seem to glue to the painting 😊❤

I have not had parchment paper stick to any of my diamond paintings. Have you tried cutting the parchment paper in to squares for sectioning?

@@AHomespunHobby I cut it into release paper sizes to make it easier but it glues to the painting

Are you sure you are using parchement paper and not wax paper? Wax paper will stick. Parchment paper will not stick to your canvas.
