I have a restored 1980 RM125 and also I am rebuilding a 1983 RM125. I told my wife that when you are messing around with old motocross bikes it is good to have a spare....
Wow. Me too. First MX race for me was in 84 on a 82 RM 125 at A place called Bithlo outside of Orlando. It seized over a jump in first moto. Luckily I was so slow it wasn't disastrous. I was able to free it up before 2nd moto. It survived 2nd moto. Ofcourse after that I bored it and put a new piston in it. Loved that bike. Handled good and rear suspension was very good for the times.
Going to be running in / sorting mine out this weekend . Great video and I'm hoping the absolute bullshit involved to get this far looks as nice as what I've just seen ...
For young 60 year old, that brought back a few memories, I just loved that bike 👍.
Ahh noice one :) glad to hear it 😊
That era of RM were rockets. I had several late ‘70s early ‘80s RMs. They screamed.
Great bike, great riding too! Enjoyed watching this video several times.
Thankyou mate! glad you enjoyed it 😎

@@sbam4152 Thanks!
I asked my wife if she'd rather me have a few spare bike's or a few spare of her!
One of the All Time best 125 motocross bikes. It dominated the 125 class for two years
Yes definitely the better machine in thoes early years 😁🤘🤘
Great ride mate. Did my 1st ever race on one of these in '84. Great bikes, pretty too.👍👍👍
Awesome stuff never forget your first race :) 🏁 I agree they're definitely a cool looking machine and full floater system is definitely a winner 😀

Fair play mate ! Have you built an 82 ? Oem or modd ?? They're a pain but, I'm sure she'll be fine and worth it in the end👍🤟 🍻
Best dam bike ever this guy proved it ! Choke on that
Slicing and dicing like a ginsu blade keeps a liking and keeps on ticking and plenty of beans!
Parts of that track was in rough shape. Nice riding and always good to hear a 2 stroke at full song.
Thank-you buddy :) Yes there we a few mushy bits out there 🤣
Dude. So good.
😁🤟
So awesome

What is that white 4 stroke twin shock with the blue jersey/coat?
