Definitely a beautiful piece of art!
thank you, we couldn't agree more. Mike 's art is incredible! Love the color-shift illusion.
@@CreatexColors yes incredible!!
The creative freedom in this was quite refreshing! Beautiful result! Was this a casting from a mold and was the chrome Createx Quicksilver?
The Chrome is Alsa Easy Chrome. Yes, this was a casting from a mold, made by Ironhead Studio, thank you.
Great video .. too cool helmet, great job painting it! I have a question maybe you or someone at Createx can answer for me! I am doing a cosplay head piece out of EVA foam for my daughter-in-law and the directions show the primer being Flexbond which is a clear flexible coating that will get painted over with acrylics. I was wondering if I could use Createx 4050 or the UVLS clear (or other Createx product) instead and get the same results? I always use Createx paints in my airbrush, so if either of those wold work in place of Flexbond that'd be great, but I do not want to ruin the eva foam piece as it's a lot of work not to mention expense. Thanks in advance!
I'm curious what airbrush and pressure was used.
Iwata Eclipse CS ~ 24- 28 psi. Thank you.
@@CreatexColors The blue colored handle with no cutout confused me I guess.
Are you using a single action airbrush?
The airbrush is dual-action; press down for air, pull back for paint. Thanks.
I noticed he is not moving the trigger forward or back, just pressing down which makes it look like a single action. I was told by Createx that it is an Iwata Eclipse CS. Looks like the handle was changed.
