New to fishing,,,, curious - when you catch do you bleed them and toss them in ice or water?
That’s the best way to do it for preservation and quality of the meat.
In the kayak, I don’t always have an ice slurry, but I do make sure to bleed them out at the least.
I think we all like double 🐈⬛ lol

I usually get my minnows from Chesapeake Outdoors on Kent Island or from Anglers Sports Center in Annapolis. They’re both on my way to the fishing grounds as I leave the west side for the eastern shore of MD.
