    Is there anything else you would like to see on the Cub Cadet M60 mower? Please let me know.

      Actually yes, How to adjust and assure your deck is level and how to adjust the speed when one is faster than the other. We initially have the same exact thing. Mine is a Lesco Commercial Plus Tank m54. LOVE to support this channel because they became a died off breed but little to people know these suckers will hang with the 2022 Scags. These were called tanks for a reason not just for their sound.

      @@iwannachopbladeslawncare thanks for the comment. It is a mowing machine. Question about the "how to adjust the speed when one is faster than the other" comment. Do you mean the sticks that control the hydros? Please let me know.

      @@BeltedGallowayHomestead Well more on the transmission side rather than the two bolts where the sticks are. More importantly though rather see a video on proper adjustment of the deck because one controls the other and I believe I dialed mine in but this is my first REAL mower beast and this sucker is the best!

      @@BeltedGallowayHomestead Yes it will. That’s very odd to me. And the owner’s manual says it won’t drive if those valves are open.

    I've got a m60 tank. the pto belt comes off when I start mow. how do I stop this

    • @BeltedGallowayHomestead
      @BeltedGallowayHomestead  Před 2 měsíci

      Thanks for the question. My belt will jump off couple time per year and it is usually sticks or debris. Here are some things to check:
      Is it routed correctly? Double check. It is easy to get on the wrong side of the tension roller.
      I have hooked my belt over the hydro motor brackets. My belt would smoke, but it may jump off.
      Are all the spindles, pulleys and tensioners free turning? One of them could be sticking.
      I know that other people idle the engine down before activating the pto clutch. I don't do that but it would be easier on the equipment. Let me know what you find!

    I have a cub cadet m48 tank, just bought it about 2 months ago whenever I tried to move it a few weeks ago, I cranked it up and released the parking brake and it died. I replaced the brake switch and that did not work so I replaced the seat switch and that didn't work. Now I don't know what else to do, could you help

    • @BeltedGallowayHomestead
      @BeltedGallowayHomestead  Před rokem

      Absolutely! Let me take a look at my machine and manual.

    • @BeltedGallowayHomestead
      @BeltedGallowayHomestead  Před rokem

      OK, I remember my mower would die if I moved my steering sticks with the park brake engaged.
      There are five safety switches in the electrical circuit which control the engine. They are (1) the blade clutch switch, (2) the parking brake switch, (3) the left and (4) the right steering lever switches and (5) the seat switch. They operate so that in order to start the engine, the blade clutch switch must be off, the parking brake must be engaged, and both steering levers must be opened-out to the side in the neutral position. Once the engine is started, the seat must be occupied and the parking brake must be released before either of the steering levers is folded up to the operating position or the engine’s electronic ignition will be grounded out and the engine will stop. Also, the seat must be occupied before the blade clutch switch can cause the blades to rotate.
      Thanks for reaching out. Please let me know if this helped!

    Hi I'm picking one up saterday for 300,was told it needs left side hydraulic motor, it only goes in circles to one side, is it worth it to put a new one on it ,any advice ? Thanks

    • @BeltedGallowayHomestead
      @BeltedGallowayHomestead  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for reaching out! If the mower is in good shape, I would definitely pick it up. My parts list says the left hydro pump part number is 01006936. The right hydro pump part number is 01006937. A quick look shows a new one is about $1,300. A used one is $300 to $500. You could have a great mower for $600 to $1,600 depending which way you go. Sounds like an opportunity to me!
