To people who are commenting ARR is back: Seriously guys, he is always here. He loves experimenting new genre's. Even this song sounds fresh and beautiful. Try listening to Raanjana songs, they are too good and it's one of the reasons why the movie was a super hit in box office.

He Loves Experimenting, Yes. But I feel in the recent past he was not given sufficient time to work on some commercial film albums due to release date pressure. ARR himself says creative work takes time & doesn't happen instantly, it depends on state of mind, thoughts, inspiration etc. He Iterates his compositions from Version 1 to Version 20/30/40 & by the time it goes for final mix it transforms to something phenomenal.
"AR Rahman is Back" signifies that he has collaborated with the right filmmaker to deliver his best, which is a good sign. Pls don't take it the other way.
