the key point is detachment from inner and not outer. People begin to distance themselves thinking that is the detachment. Isolating yourself is not detachment.
Proximity bleeds familiarity....and emotional attachment, separating the 2 is hard...staying together but not tied is hard...cutting ties means cutting emotional ties...staying in people's faces is hard...
