@steven milstead After reading up on Miss Greene’s story, something tells me your derisive comment is less about the way she quit her job by standing up proudly and frankly for what she believes in, and more so to do with the fact that you disagree with medical/recreational marijuana use, and/or may be racist. Or, maybe it has nothing to do with either of those things. I do, however, think it’s very telling that those with an issue with my comment have bent over backwards to nitpick at my mentioning that racism may _potentially_ be a factor, but hardly anyone has said anything about the recreational marijuana use. Why reply if it doesn’t apply. Me thinks the lady doth protest too much. Edit: Something that's never made sense to me about racists: If you're so proud to be racist, and feel it's justified, why get offended and try to gaslight when called out for what you are? If you're so proud to the point that you have racist pfp's, usernames, and openly say things like "There's a reason some races are associated with low class" why backpedal when you're accurately assessed? It's like the ku klux wearing those white masks. For what? Aren't you happy to be racist, why hide, why suddenly pretend you're not? Especially when you've got Nazi insignias, openly calling black people the n word, and whatnot, etc. all over your every social media? Hating other/certain races is your entire personality, but you want others to pretend like it's not? It's so much easier to just drink water and go to therapy like everybody else, rather than coping with your personal issues by being racist.
This is the most wholesome thing I've ever seen. I hope he found happiness and prosperity in his life. *EDIT* thanks for all the likes but you can stop replying now, I'm good 👍👍

David Letterman used to be a weatherman in Indiana. He even congratulated a hurricane when it went up in strength. Some people thought that was inappropriate, but in Indiana, he maybe can get by with the joke.
If they didn't want him full time that's their loss. He seems like a genuinely nice dude. I read another comment on here saying he got a full time gig at another station, good for him.
Three weeks after this was aired, they found his body at an unmanned weather station on top of a hill near his house. He hung himself with an electrical cord tied to the chain link fencing surrounding the station. I guess he died how he lived: a weatherman.

For anyone who is still watching this, the guy's name is Tony Derda. He did manage to do some other meteorologist gigs here and there, most recently in Amarillo, Texas. He now teaches 7th grade math at Nick Kerr Middle School in Amarillo and, according to his wedding registry, got married yesterday. To quote Conan O'Brien, "Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get, but if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Seems like he found happiness.
