- Following the events at Lower Manhattan, subway service was changed drastically. To fill in for suspended R service, Q trains were rerouted via Queens Blvd to 71st/Continental Avenue. E trains would also fill in for suspended C service to Euclid Avenue.

Yes this is post 9/11 because the Q train is running via the R line after the WTC collapsed, the Cortland st was damaged and no trains could past.

@@justinatior the N was also suspended. The W filled in for it in Queens and the M filled in for it in Brooklyn. So M via Sea Beach was def a thing
