If we really take this seriously - as it so well describes the inner workings of being here - we can experience Freedom.
1. Keep Quiet
Don't engage with what arises here - thoughts, feelings, sensations, memories, emotions. Keep Quiet. Keep directing your attention inward.
The more you follow this instruction, the deeper you can rest in Presence.
2. Don't Make Any Effort
Don't suppress, don't try to control, don't try to make it any different.

Effort is like will, it is a pull, a force, that means to tie and tighten. It is mind not heart, it is driven by the illusion of control. I for my part have consistently experienced how effort and will only emerge when in challenging situations, it is a way to react before a Higher Power can act. We are that Higher Power but to know it we must give up will and effort, though so tempting. All mystics know that. The reason we little know about this opportunity is we never dared to try unless forced by Life to surrender or by a strong inner divine love, for which we drop our interference. Thank you.
