It would probably sell better if they didn’t sell a seven year old game with almost no new features at $60
Its a shame this series doesn't get the love it deserves, I do think if for pikman 4 they just slapped another captain on there it may be to isolating, I think for 4 they need to do something more than that if they want to grow their player base. But I will take anything at this point, starved seven years of a new pikmim.

In Challenge mode, they say things like "good", excellent" or "perfect" when you get a medal. It's just a higher pitch and a little hard to hear, but still.

I loved Pikmin 2, but the Pikmin 3 demo was so slow moving and all the constant dialogue and tips really bogged it down. Does it pick up after the first section?
@@Energygel yes the beginning is very dialogue heavy. Once you get yellow Pikmin the game opens up like crazy

A remaster of 1 and 2 is extremely unlikely, as Nintendo released about 6 classic games with absolutely no graphical changes

I think they’ll either just port 1 & 2 to the Switch in a similar fashion to the New Play Control! Wii ports, or just bundle them together in a package. The bundle may not happen though because Nintendo apparently likes to leave out superior sequels as seen with one CERTAIN GAME (I’m looking at you Super Mario 3D All-Stars)!

It's being worked on unfortunately pikmin 2 and 3 both sold less than expected when they came out originally so pikmin 4 isn't that high on the priority list. More than likely there's only a skeleton crew working on it when and only gets more help when other have time in between projects. Hopefully this game sells well enough that it bumps pikmin 4 higher on the priority list.
@Sleep No did youknow gaming reported on it in their latest video and whenever he's asked Miamoto says it is being worked on.
Nintendo Switch seems to always call things Deluxe when they remake versions of WiiU games.

These are the same people that give some pretty brutal death animations to Pikmin. Like that monster that eats 2 at a time, feet first, 3 bites. It's messed up.

I really didn't expect Pikmin to be for me since I'm not really a RTS guy, but I tried the demo and was shocked by how fun this actually is. I immedietly pre-ordered and have been playing the demo weekly since. I've got it on pre-order and the wait is agonising. ONE MORE DAY!
I played the demo through 4 1/2 times and played the one challenge mission through at least 10 times
I played the demo for more than 5 hours doing the mission mode. My best time is platinum with 2 minutes to spare.
Also... the rest of the game is much better than what’s shown in the demo, I know since I played the Wii U version. Have fun!
Check out the Overlord series, they're very similar to the Pikmin series. It's actually kinda shocking that there's only one game that has borrowed the Pikmin formula!
I’m glad to see someone new pick up the series, I’ve been playing 1&2 since elementary school. If you’d like info on the previous games, Antdude has reviews, and Arlo has a video on why he loves pikmin.

The demo doesn’t do the game justice, as the area the demo takes place in is made to show you how to play the game. The other areas are much more fleshed out. However, the demo does let you play one of the mission mode challenges. Witch are incredibly fun if you like improving scores.

Might as well be. This game could define what the franchise's next steps are. And it gives the awesome game that was pikmin 3, a chance to be played and enjoyed by everyone.

Another underrated game coming tomorrow for Switch should be on your radar. Mad Rat Dead. A rhythm running platformer with charm and a rodent on the quest to eliminate the lab workers that put him in the cage for experimentation.

I played this game in the Wii U. It is great and I was always in doubt about what planet they got to. I mean..you can find objects that seem human-made but you can also find many fantastic animals . I beleived it to be earth in a far away future after an apocaliptic event.
Every playthrough with no Pikmin deaths, no exceptions.
