    My gravel driveway might be a slight pain to plow and shovel in the winter but at least it’s not radiating heat from being jet black. And at least I don’t have to pay to have it resurfaced every couple years. 🤷‍♀️

      Yeah. Apshalt is the most recycled material in the world I think. Would any of this ruin it? The rubber part? What even is in the sealer?

      It probably also depends on how much you drive/park cars on said driveway as well, since that extra weight makes it easier to break the asphalt up. 3-4 years is probably the average and a good estimate to ensure you dont need to outright replace the entire driveways asphalt xD

    The driveway appears to be concrete. Is this correct? If so, is it best to repair the cracks in the concrete, then, lay the asphalt on top? Or, if you are interested in asphalt driveway, remove entire concrete, then, lay new asphalt driveway?

      Im pretty sure the lighter asphalt is just old asphalt, unless im mistaken. Asphalt looses its jet black color over time and greys out, concrete is much lighter and smoother looking as well

      @@rabbit1360 Have you figured in the number of cars that are damaged by potholes, car accidents from potholes, and windshields that are damaged by rocks from pot holes? Billions of dollars of damage, injury and death related costs are the result of bad roads and drive ways, not to mention the added stress on the nerves of drivers and passengers from potholes. All together, I think we should rehab and repair all asphalt roads every three years.

      @@theodorevegh6030 The US has around 3 million sq mile of road (2959067 to be exact). The avg cost to fix a road is 3 dollars per sq ft. Doing the math, it would take 2.47482160358 × 10^14 dollars to fix just the roads that the US has. Now pay for that every 3 years and it will put the US into more dept than it already is even if you get rid of the military budget for the past few decades.

    353 degrees celsius is 667 degrees fahrenheit . Way to hot for hot applied crack filler. I have this same machine and all of the crack fillers recommend far less than 667 degrees F. Good video but do your homework please. The guy says this at around the 2:30 mark in the video

    He reversed expand (gets bigger) and contract (smaller), which is the opposite of what he said.

      At first I thought so, but then I realised that when the opposite edges of the asphalt contract the crack will become bigger due to the edges shrinking. And vice versa for expansion.
