Love how he says "Assembling it basically falls right into place as you assemble it the way it's logical" while handling about a hundred pieces that all look the same.

They look the same but the size is different. The only go in one place.

As a fellow saxophonist, watching that saxophone get cleaned and restored was like breathing in oxygen. Bravo.

Peter is Super!!! I have been his client for at least 20 years. He also makes a G soprano sax that Joe Lovano, Benjamin Koppel, Antoine Roney, Frederik Lundin play. He also makes really good mouthpieces
and ligatures. And he is only a 15 minute walk from my apartment!

I always enjoy watching a professional work. I had no doubt that at the end of this instrument would be beautiful again. Thank you.

I remember someone using my alto sax in 10th grade without my permission and when I got to class I saw that the bell was dented pretty bad. Fortunately, the school's district was able to fix it.

Very impressive! My 74 yr old brother is giving me his saxophone from his childhood. It is old and dented and missing the mouthpiece and will probably need repairs such as the one in this video. I wish you weren't located so far in Denmark. I'm in California, USA. Do you know a place here in Orange County, California that you can recommend to restore our saxophone? It would be nice to have it restored and gift it to my 12 yr old grandson who has just started taking saxophone lessons in school with a loaner instrument.

The better option would be to melt it down and make an alto or tenor.

In the same way that an Indy Car driver would consider a 1953 Corvette "trash", yes, I suppose you are correct, my friend who has missed the point of both this video and this man's passion entirely.

I'm pretty sure pro saxophone players (and just musicians in general) would find this impressive that you can completely fix a seemingly "trash" instrument

Good morning bro the person who said this is trash honestly probably never even held a spanner to adjust a bolt and nut. I am a saxophonist and repair tech and l admire and respect all techs in any field. Keep up the good work sir. I am sure the musicians appreciate your work. Have a great day.
