Toms knee exploding was directly caused by curtis blades out striking him in an exchange causing him to step backwards awkwardly. For the amount of kicks Jon has thrown not a single time did he injure himself. Jon would pick aspren-alls knees apart and exploit that injury even more. His fight IQ is leagues above these amateurs at heavyweight

I'm pretty sure the UFC will stick with their plan since neither Jon nor Stipe want any opponent than the other for the sake of their legacies, but if they could be convinced to do Tom vs Stipe while Jon is out then the winner of that vs Jon for the undisputed I think that'd be the best for the sport and fans.

Aspinall is the more dynamic striker and MUCH quicker by far not even close. Jone has the better wrestling but Aspinall can grapple his ass off, he’s a better grappler than jon too. Jon will have a tough time no matter where he takes the fight. Watching the few moments he struck with Cyril on the feet, tells me he’d get starched by aspinall if he stands too long. I’d go Aspinall and bet my money. And I like Jon.

Man Henry Cejudo really needs to start doing his research before he starts making his videos. Volkovs reach is 80 inches but jones is tie with stefan struve at 84.5 inch reach in ufc history and pretty much tied with Sergei pavlovich who has 84 inch reach. Cejudo makes random claims like that almost every single one of the videos I've seen. Like he really doesn't give a damn about details and that makes it hard to take his breakdowns and predictions as seriously. I appreciate him making these videos though.

Dana makes the rules, that's why this is hard to see sometimes as a truly organized sport. It's obviously a sport but not organized in the traditional way where rankings matter, W/L matters, etc. Jones will retire with the title after the Stipe fight and relinquish it to Tom.

I think the fight would have been a better test if S. Pavlovic had not dropped that one "chin checker" on T. Aspinwall early. It went great for the "fighter source". This "slam, bam, thank you, Ma'am" fight didn't hurt the quality of these fighters.
Aspinall is a bad boy all around in every category .Also it's very hard to even think about Jones getting beat by someone.Ive seen this song and dance for yrs,everyone saying "this is the guy that can beat Jones"and then Jon beats them and usually easy.But then again Toms not these other guys, for years Jones was always bigger than everyone, he's only father couple of times where the guy was his size.Toms huge and doesn't set still to be hit ,kicks ,great grappling, wrestling,hits hard and also can take a shot,the shot he eat from Pav would have taken a lot of guys out.
