- Today while street feeding, we saw a kitten who was following people. For one moment, he followed someone and the other moment he followed someone else, maybe trying to say to take it along with them. But no one was paying attention to it.
One or two families stopped and picked it and cuddled it and left for their house. We started asking some people there about that kitten. We didn't get much information but one person said that someone has dropped it here but it is also not confirmed that it was the same kitten or some other kitten. Well, this kitten was also following us. We gave him milk.
We didn't pick it at the instant that maybe its mother is somewhere nearby. After spending a little time there when we were assured that its mother is not nearby then we picked it and took it home with us so that we can give this kitten for adoption.

Maybe they had a good reason. You cannot know.
You have a good point there but some reasons they would not take it in could be like they dont want the responsibility, its annoying, they cant feed it or they dont like cats
I just believe they could have at least found someone who wanted to care for the poor baby instead of just abandoning it...

It's so cute! This is how I ended up with one of my cats 6 years ago! It was about 110 degrees, and here was a teensy fuzzy kitten crying in the middle of a hot parking lot. She barely had her eyes open. I finished raising her and kept her. She is still very small for a cat but happy and healthy and spoiled rotten

The kitten came to a place of big hearts, and the welcoming, mothering heart of Lucy seems the biggest of all! She took on the added responsibility without hesitation, and with great tenderness.
It was also good to see someone taking care to investigate if the mother is around, before taking the kitten home. Too often, I fear that a mother has been left behind, when a kitten has been rescued. It takes patience to wait and observe long enough to know, and patience is becoming a rarity. It's good to see that some still have it.

We have 7 cats presently with us, we used to have 2 more but one died of a heart attack outside our front door and our other cat was put to sleep due to cancer! We have looked after mostly stray cats for years and it is so rewarding to watch them grow! It is also sad when they pass away but there are always other cats who move in and presently we feed another visiting cats! But what a blessing they are to us and we are thankful we can bless them too! It is great to see others out there making a difference, especially with these difficult days we are all going through except the very rich of course! Love and blessings to you all this fine day! 😃

So sorry for your cat loss. I've had dozens of cats, never lost 1 from H A. That's terrible. Do you know if it was heart disease or something else like stress & anxiety? My 10 year old cat went 2 the vet recently & her heart was beating so fast from anxiety they that she was having a heart attack. It was more like a panic attack, tho. They gave her some meds 2 calm her down. She's great now at home. High anxiety.

Keep up this fabulous job. As fosters of newborn kittens, we know the work involved, the sleepless nights bottle feeding them when they don’t have a mother to do it. But please keep doing that great job you showed us. Rescue all the babies you can and try to find good forever homes for them. God bless sweet Lucy for letting this baby join her litter and for being a wonderful mommy to the baby.

All four of our cats were on their own in the wilds of Florida swamp lands so over the years I alone befriended them, had them fixed and have given them a wonderful life and in turn they have shown me so much love. My wife is from the Philippines, and I have noticed that most poor countries do not have pets because of having to feed them.

I was somebody who is a cat lover and is a foster family for cats that has 13 cats currently there's probably going to be more in the future I am really thankful for you taking it and because if not who knew what could happen this is why you always should love animals no matter what even if they're not nice to you they still have feelings
