Mickey Mouse used for April fools in The Netherlands

For years we have got "Loeki de Leeuw" as a character in between commercials at the national TV network. At the end of March 1994 he was replaced by Mickey Mouse but coming back at the second of April. A lot of people got upset and angry by this"replacement". A well prepared and succesfull April fools joke. :-)
