The palette box is a cheaper version of a Holbein offering a 20-slot palette. If honest I have way more colours than if ever use. I often only use a few of these and a version of this palette with fewer slots would be better for most.
My brushes are mainly Rosemary and Co, Sable, and Synthetics.

FPR pens with ultra flex nib better than noodlers. They ship to uk and often have offers on. Sketch ink is better in noodlers pens as doesn’t fry out so quick. Love your watercolour work.
Very much appreciated!!! I’m just in the process of trying to work out which pens to buy... soooo many choices and so many different things they do... this helped sort through the chaos... gonna need to watch this a few times...
So pleased it was a help, rather a minefield out there, cheers P
Fountain pen Revolution (FPR) ships internationally for free for orders over $149, (today about 120 GBP). Maybe you could get some friends who might be interested to go in on an order. They also have a BOGO going on, which convinced me to finally give a flex nib a try. I’m a huge fan of fude nibs. Thanks for sharing your collection. I just got another sampler of Octopus Sketch and Draw inks from Cult Pens, so I’ll try some of my new inks in the new pens.
I have chatted to them and they suggested their own pen bodies, I wanted to use the X750 bodies, so unsure how to proceed, Noodler Ahab is a bit of a pig to be fair, so will seek some FPR #6 nibs thanks for the info, cheers P
Thanks a bunch! This was just what I needed... am just now in the process of deciding which pen with which ink...
I just received a gift of a twisbi eco fine nib and have noodlers brown ink in it. I’d like the ink to be a just little more waterproof and the nib to be EF. I don’t want to spend a fortune on trying to find just the right combination... so this video was perfect!!!💖💫💞✨💝
The fude nib sounds great, but a bit out of my price range right now, but is definitely on my list.
Note: I tried my twisbi upside down and I can get it to make F and EF lines...
I put Sketch Ink which is supposed to be waterproof in my cheapo $5. EF Platinum Preppy just to see if it would work... it dried out and was hard to start like your pens. I’ve found if I keep them lying on their side when not being used, and rolled so the nib is laying under the ink feed part that I don’t have any problems... I think the problem might be with the ink draining out of the nib/feed and then the residue left in the nib dried and clogs. Then when we tip it up to use it again the ink drains back into the nib and takes a few minutes to reconstitute the dry ink in the nib/feed. At least that’s my theory. Same thing happens with glue bottles. If you store them upside down the glue doesn’t dry in the tips of the bottles and you don’t have to wait for it to drain down to get squeeze it out... liquids dry/evaporate from the top down...
I’ve read recently that if you dip the nib in a little water it helps get them going. I tried this with my artpen by dipping it in water from one of those 30ml dosing pots you get with medicines and it’s really helped. Worth a try?
Hi there. I'm a little bit confused about the name of your favorite inks. Are they by Noodler?
Hi there I like Noodlers Bullit ink, but for total waterproof I prefer De Artrementis inks Black and the browns, cheers P
@@paulappswildlifeart Have you considered Platinum Carbon Black as well? Goulet Pens did a _relatively_ recent video to test how waterproof a variety of black inks are & it came out on top. If your decided on DeAtramentis, thats fine, just my 2c. God bless!
@@robmc120 Thanks Rob Ill check it out, cheers P
is that a lamy vista?
Yes it is cheers p
