- Our journey from Manali starts on 8th June, 2024 at 8 AM in the morning. The journey starts with a big traffic congestion from Solang Valley till Atal tunnel. We get stopped by the Darcha checkpost where finally my wife manages to explain the situation and we get allowed to proceed towards Shinkula Pass. It starts to snow heavily while we were climbing Shinkula and the road conditions remain sketchy. We finally reach Gombo Rongjon and I end up crashing my drone there which gets rescued by our home stay owner Aacho bhai. We have a long chat with the couple and I also try Tsampa which is a Ladakhi dish.

Drive of a lifetime in an Alto. That high rev sounds reminded me of the M800, it used to ask for lower gears. Now forgot it as WagonR's extra 1000cc comes to the rescue even with full load. But the emotion is with smaller cars. Alto is legend and you're a responsible driver. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole drive. Sad with the drone crash. Good luck and have a great time buddy!! People in SUVs I'm sure would be jealous of enjoying the drive in a cute car such as Alto.
