I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Oooh! new bag! That’ll make you get out more. I‘m still using my LowePro, but have several others including messenger bag which I prefer as they are easier to get into rather than relieve your back of a backpack. Watch those magnetic clips, Brian. I had a Manfrotto bag with those and they kept coming loose. Ended up sticking Velcro top and bottom under the straps. That worked much better than those magnetic clips!
Thanks for the tips!
I like the style of the bag.
Not for me Brian, I’ll stick with my ThinkTank Signature 10 which is similar in style and layout! Updating the KF bag with a top grab handle would help but in order to accommodate that feature a rethink would be necessary for those magnetic snap catches on the front of the bag! On their own I doubt they would not be able to support the weight through the cover! Great review and video as always! 😊
great video Brian, 100% a deal breaker for me no top handle, i wouldnt give it a second look, keep the vids coming. (Edit: both my messenger bags have top strap)
Would love a top handle too. Incidentally, I've always found K&F filters to be very good.
No top handle and the fake leather is a no go.
I also have a big LowePro (AW 450 II), which I got to carry all my gear on commercial aircraft. It works great for that but it's a bit bulky for field use (built a bit too much like a tank)! As you know, the point of MFT is to travel light), so I use a sling bag for that. I can cram my G9 with battery grip and six lenses (the largest being the Leica 100-400) in there, but it's really pushing it. I know this video's about the K&F bag (which I might consider for travel use--as you say, better to not have a too obvious "camera" bag in some situations), but which LowePro bag do you have and how do you like it?
The one I use doesn’t exist anymore. The Adventura are the closest in design. My larger backpack is now replaced by the flip side 300. Really happy with them and have used them for years.
@@ThatMicro43Guy Thanks, Brian. My current sling bag is a bit larger than the Flipside 300, but unlike that pack, it's got two compartments and the lower camera one's a bit too small. I fear the LowePro Slingshot SL 250 AW may also be. I've yet to find the "perfect" pack (that fits all my gear, is comfortable and practical to use, weatherproof, and ruggedly built). It amazes me how there aren't more good choices out there, as surely the various R&D and marketing departments out there include photographers! Primarily, too many lack sufficient room in the lower camera section (the entire interior should be dividable) or the strap's on the wrong side (over the left shoulder, like the ThinkTank TurnStyle--left shoulder = camera, right shoulder = bag). If they made a Flipside in sling form, now we're talking!
Nice bag, but I prefer the backpack, I can put my tripod inside.
Looks quite practical but perhaps not that stylish.
Just a copy from the luxe and distinguished Messenger bag from OLYMPUS pfffffffff
