- In this video I go through the games purchased in a massive warehouse raid this week in the Dallas Fort Worth area. 110 games, 100+ PCBs, HUGE lot of parts, and more!
This is the beginning of a longer series documenting the repair, restoration, and game play of these games. - Hry
A arcade collectors WET DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man....!!
+Dan Keller Yeah looking back it was a lot of fun for sure! New videos next week!
I remember as a kid my dad was best friends with a guy who was an auctioneer. He let us into a warehouse one Saturday afternoon after an auction, and it was wall to wall video games! I thought I had died and gone to Heaven.
patluvsvettes Lucky. And here I am drinking soda pop and a slice pizza and wondering if people are saving all of them arcades at the arcade graveyard. If only I can afford a personal truck...
Looks like a dream job
Ohhh Star trek vector captain's chair arcade game..
So want that.
nice collection of arcades, wish i could be there in person.
Amazing haul, congrats.
After 30secs I know this gonna be good
Love to see all of the parts!
very nice haul I would love to have a massive amount of those
Amazeballs!
I spent several days trying to find a Dig Dug MAME rom that would run on my Super Retrocade console. It's one of the most epic and iconic classic games of the entire arcade era.
We used to thread a quarter on a string and play all day on some of those machines, lol!
I would love to have that duck hunt game, I always liked the old mechanical pop up shooting games
Nice nice nice!!!
Yes!!! Pole Position!, BattleZone!!!, Tron!!!
Love operation wolf!
What a haul, congrats. I want a Burgertime so bad....
+ChristianHarper thanks!
I am just now getting into arcades, till learning alot. All I have is a MAME machine and Ms. Pac-Man and also Daytona USA Twin so far.. More to come but there expensive wish I had all those arcades..lol
+Digital Encom That almost exactly how I started. It snowballs on you and before you know it you have 20!
+TheArcadeGeek I actually got into it by mistake I guess you could say. I was looking for examples on what to do with my game-room/theater-room and thought an Arcade would be cool. And I found a nice Ms. Pac-Man Cab in my area by my area I mean 3 hours away..lol They wanted 350 for it and I got it for 250 and while I was there they said they had a full size air hockey table they wanted to get rid of as well because there grand-kids were all grown up. Said if I would take it with me I could have it for 75 bucks... I plugged it up and made sure it worked and took it as well. So I came Home with an Arcade and an Air Hockey table that day (1 year ago). And ever since I played Ms. Pac-Man I was hooked. So the next thing I tried was building a MAME Cab then just 5 days ago I bought a Daytona USA Twin for 900 bucks. It was steep but I really wanted it and they dont come around in my area of the sticks..lol
Wow! Beyond impressed with this collection of game. I was hoping to see more videos on your channel of you working on them, guess that's not in the works with this video being a year old. Any updates?
heya thanks! I actually have shot new videos but need to edit them a bit before I post them. I took the winter off from working on games and have just started getting to new projects within the last week. Hoping to have a few new videos posted later this month! Some of them will be older footage from last year and others will be new projects I am working on as we speak. Stay tuned! :)
Just got my parts for my operation wolf, gun, base, marquee etc. Am going to build a cabinet.any chance you could give me the dimensions for op?
wish I could help, but we sold those a few years ago. Maybe try a post on KLOV as i know many people there have the game and can help. good luck!
this seems like a time where you should let your fellow DFW klov members help out with this and or at least come check out your place. at the minimum you need a review party at some point where Channelmanic and others can come and congrats you on this epic score.
FYI this is C65Mustang from KLOV
again super awesome deal
Sounds like a great idea! Once we get a little further along, we will do just that.
WOW Pengo!!
I'd love to make an offer on the Crystal Castles cabaret if you still have it.
Is There a Polybius Cabinet there?
Great vid, love barn finds. Would you willing sale the Simpsons? Local in DFW. Thanks i am on KLOV fourms
Do you have sea wolf
That street fighter 2 is a bit interesting, buttons on opposite sides? Never seen that before, I'm assuming a convert from a dual stick game....?
+Marcos Aguilera yeah that was an odd conversion for sure. Never tried to play it with two people but I can imagine that it would have been a pain...
Have any of these still for sale?
Unfortunately no. We sold off the games from this lot last year. I do have a few games that will be for sale this spring though. A Donkey Kong and Neo Geo 4 slot for sure. Thanks!
What was the cost of the lot?
We spent $25k on the lot and ended up selling a large portion of it for about $45k. We also each kept about $5k in games, so we turned the original $25k into $55k after 6 months.
Omg 25k all I want is robocop R-TYPE and my fav of all time SHINOBI ❤️
So you brought all these games & hired a building, are you a millionaire? Cool haul though :)
+Harolds Stuff lol I wish. We got a great rate on rent for 6 months while we were selling them all. Was a lot of work to move 110 games in 6 months, but it was fun! :)
+TheArcadeGeek I bet moving all these games was a pain! Cool icon by the way, we both got taste lol :)
+Harolds Stuff it was for sure, but was worth it!
Arkanoid --> back to Qix?
Wish we had that board in the pile. I have an Elevator Action that I could use. That game was a conversion anyway I guess.
Just give it to me for free.
