The 250mph 1050hp speed tail is much faster & more powerful then the 250mph 1100hp Valkyrie? Yeh makes a lot of sense.
It doesn’t because the Valkyrie is 2271 lbs and the Speed Tail is 3521 lbs and the Valkyrie has more hp which should boost it more and since it is 1300 lbs lighter it should be quicker

Plaids a good car! But should only be compared to other electric cars like McMurtry spierling. 765lt should be compared to supercars but beats hyper cars aswell, like the original sf90. They then upgraded the electric motor just to take on the 765lt. It normally takes a 1000hp & a bit of lightness to give the mclarens a run for their money
@Equalevolution all production street legal cars can be compared with each other whether ice, hybrid or electric. How much a car cost is the only reason cars should not be compared. Mcmurty is a one-off race car not really fair to compare it to a warrantied production street car anybody can buy. Sf90 beats the 765lt in drag, roll, track and top speed.
I saw this car on Speed Racer, back in the 60's. When you drive it, you have to take this drug, but the speed makes you go insane.
I think we should use the theoretical top speed of all these cars if they haven't actually done a complete top-speed run just to keep it fair. For example, you put the Venom F5 anD Jesko ahead based on theoretical top speeds (310-331MPH) but used a nontop speed on the SSC. If we are going off of theoretical top speeds the SSC is the fastest at 342mph

Real speed or it dose not count. In theory my chevy spark w/ airbox mod is capable of speeds near 352 MPH.

"Theoretically", according to NASA computer modeling my Datsun 510 will go 348 mph. Unfortunatly there is no universe currently available where it can be properly tested.
The tires are what's going to keep these cars from going over 300mph for very long. They will tear apart at super high speeds. This is what Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and Hennessey all have claimed.
Something past rubber will have to be created. Im guessing some sort of infused superplastic that doesn't exist yet

What tires do they use for vehicles on the Bonneville salt flats? Hennessy or SSC would need to butter up some darpa or Lockheed skunk works guys. For some super high tech tires. I figured he'd get help before the others since they are the only Americans. I like SSC more than Hennessy. But I do like Hennessy. What kills me is the prices of these cars. They are just not worth it. The price drops so so fast after you have had it for a while. Especially a Hennessy vehicle.
248 mph?! I was the only vehicle on a highway in Nebraska, so I put the pedal down and drove my Mazda RX-7 121 mph and that was insanely fast. I was not so much driving as pointing the nose of the vehicle at the road where it met the horizon. Thank GOD, I survived, but if I would have hit a piece of metal and lost a tire, I'd have been a goner. I cannot IMAGINE driving more than twice that fast! 😮
121mph is not that fast these days. I go faster than that on my Harley on a regular basis and that bike is almost 21 years old and stock standard. Same with my RCZ, it will cruise at 150mph where it is limited and that is a 1.6ltr engine
I hear you. I rode a motorcycle for twenty-five years and I feel MUCH more cofortable riding them, at ANY speed than I do driving an automobile. When I am driving a car, I feel like the "Wizard of Oz," standing behind the curtain, puling levers and turning knobs on the machine.
My motorcycle, on the other hand, is an extension of my body! It can accelerate like a rocket to get me out of trouble and stop on a dime! I don't need to "steer" it. Flexing my glutes alternately is enough to lean the bike into any turn, simply by looking where I want to go.
Anyway, after a "near-death" experience (epileptic grand mal seizure, six (6) brain surgeries, paralytic stroke and five (5) years in the hospital and Skilled Nursing facility,) my days of owning motorized vehicles of ANY kind are OVER!
My next modes of transportation will be: my own feet, pulling a wagon or sled, depending on the weather and a SCHWINN "Meridian" trike w/basket on back for summertime.

Nice video although we saw no Jesko Absolut, just the regular Jesko and based on the recent announcement, the Gemera can now take the Jesko Absolut's engine on it for a version producing 2300hp :)

Top Speed thru our atmosphere relies more on reducing areo-drag by minimizing the frontal area of the car, rather than adding more hp/torque.
While aerodynamics are certainly a huge factor (especially if you don't want to crash), the land speed record was set by the ThrustSSC jet-powered "car" that has over 100,000hp. So ~98,000 more horsepower than any of these cars.

@@inactive67 All these cars are limited at 350km to be road legal, if you want to go over that speed you have to go to an official service to take that setting off and go to the track, if you do it outside the track there will be super huge consequences.

What is "1ps"?
The metric equivalent of horse power. 1PS is slightly less than 1HP.
The list here is not in order of fastest, you can’t use theoretical speed. The Rimac for example is fastest in this list in 1/4 mile but would not be the fastest in top speed. Also the top speed models are not as fast around a track. Really pointless and shallow comparison. It’s not just about top speed it’s also about how it gets there, for example the Koenigsegg gets up to speed much faster than the Bugatti. Also the Bugatti has their own test facility to do the runs and the others not, there are many factors including where you even attempt the top speed run. To be fair they all need to be in the same location in the same weather conditions with the same tyres ideally.

Just wondering, I wanted to see if the Devel 16 made the list. They boasted the car produces 5000 hp. Anyone's thoughts on this are appreciated...
Would be also nice to see the 0-60 of each car too, not just the 10th car.
The 0-60 of the Owl #10 is faster than any other car on the list. Which makes you wonder who makes these lists. The #1 Jesko doesn't have the highest HP, top speed or fastest 0-60 yet it's still number 1. Perplexing.
The Telsa Plaid can run 0-60 in under 2 seconds. A bunch of cars on this list take 2.5 seconds. But of course by speed they mean top speed, not 0-60 speed.

I think because of marketing, I think produce about 600 cars a year vs. Koenigsegg's 60 cars a year. That figure might be plus or minus depending on if it's the sport, or super sport which is very limited.

Gemera is now outdated, it's been totally changed on the drivetrain side. I don't know if they'll do it, but the V8 version, if geared high enough, might do 550 kph or so :) With now 9 speeds in stead of 1, it would even be fine to drive with 9 speeds to reach 550 kph, 5th gear could reach 250 kph or so, nothing strange :)
But realistically I think they'll focus on setting a fast 0-400kph-0 time.
We will see. DragTimes ordered a Gemera with the V8 and should get it within the next two years.

Koeningsegg thinks new regulations will make faster future cars unlikely.. I haven't heard them promise it will never happen. They have worked with Michelin for a long time, so I think the tires for a speed run will be OK.. as OK as anything when you push things to the extreme.
I hope the tyres are as capable as the car. Had a blowout at 150mph unfortunately wrecked on a bend and at 250mph it's.likely you won't even survive.😅

Once I was racing like three of cars on hwy 85 we hit like 130 and we passed a state patrol and they all slowed but I pushed it harder cause I figured he catch them first no chance he catch me but iwas close to home so I turned off and parked in the backyard the garage was taken and didn't want em driving thru town and see my car

Our parent Vancouver, Cabada-based Aerospace Company has built a custom street car made entirely out of Carbon-Kevlar Composite and uses an in-house designed and CNC-machined Aerospace-grade Titanium Alloy V12 Engine with Aluminum Oxide (Sapphire!) coated liners and pistons. It makes 3000 HP and by using specialized in-house-built tires that flex flatter for a bigger footprint right at launch means the car has been TESTED to 1.4 Sec 0-to-60 and a top speed of 587 KMH or 364.7 MPH!
Using the SAME body and fast-flex-tires using our in-house built Ultra-Fast-Discharge-capable Sheet Graphene Supercapacity power packs ROCKETS the car UNDER ONE SECOND in the 0-to-60 mph drag strip time and tops out at 693 KMH or 430.6 MPH. With faster discharge capacitors and more POWERFUL IMPULSE EV motors, I think we can break 500 MPH or 804.672 KMH!
